And even then, so long as they're hot, I'm just fine with it.

Fans of Babylon 5... um... not so sure. And yes, Battlestar Gallactica sucks. But the effects are good, anyway, so we'll save judgement on it.

So apparently, Star Trek 11 is in pre-production now, eh?

Actually, about 10 years ago, I was working on a Next Generation script with that exact story line...

kinda..

Guinan's son has been trapped on a small shuttle alone for 50 years and is rescued by the Enterprise. His first words are "Captain Picard? What, are you the patron saint of rescuing my family or something?"

He's a very big and loud and free spirited character like Luoxana Troi, but also a very insiteful person lie Guinan.

ANd yes, he's gay.

He falls in love with a guy in Stellar cartography, and becomes a regular returning cast member as the bored house husband and best friend of Mr. Mott.
