So far it would appear to be open ended. I think at the very least it will be dinner and drinks. But it's still early yet. I think as we get dates and locations nailed down we'll be able to figure out what we're going to do.

I had a thought about our meet the other day. I don't want centexfarmer to put himself out trying to plan this thing. How about we find a nice place where we can all sit down and have dinner, drinks, good conversation? Personally, I've always admired what the Seattle JUBers did, which is pretty much what I'm suggesting we do.

Any thoughts?

We could do Gloria's (Salvadorian Food) in Oak Lawn then hit the strip.

Or we could do a intimate gathering in Oak Cliff at Vito's (Italian), or Chan Thai (Thai Food). Some friends of mine own a private club (Gay owned/operated), and I'm sure that they would love to host our meet.

For those needing overnight accomodations, do ya'll want to try and stay at the same hotel/motel? If so I'll start looking for some good rates.

All of that sounds good to me. When you say your friends have a private club, are we talking like a bar or something? Hotel accommodations would be sweet as well. mikey and I will take a single! With a coin-operated vibrating bed. Seriously though, getting the hotel thing squared away would be nice.

I'm still working on seeing about getting a special rates from my friend who just remodeled a 1940's era motel that has a dynamic view of downtown Dallas, and is centrally located to everywhere we want to be. I'll PM everyone with the details as soon as I have something.

We’d love to have Just us Boys at the hotel in March.



Our standard rooms are $125 per night

We have Garden0 Suites w/bath, soaking tub, 2 flat screens, parlor for $205

By the pool we have 2-story loft suites w/parlor and bedroom $225-275 all w/views

Our Bungalow area has some great rooms for $125 - $175 and has a terrace suite in the center of it with a living room, 2 bedrooms, 3 flat screens and a large balcony w/private Jacuzzi hot tub. It is $550 per night.



For 5 rooms or more, we’ll give you a 15% discount on any of the above.



It’s possible our spa/fitness center could be open, but it will be close..so I can’t promise. The restaurant will be open in summer 06.

I was figuring that if everyone drove to Dallas so that they're there by Saturday afternoon that will be only for one night. I've seen the place and I'm really jazzed about what they've done with it.

I'll even get a room even though I've got friends that I can stay with. I would rather experience the hotel with everyone else, and it would be easier to coordinate where we go and what we do if I'm there too. I was born and raised in Dallas after all!
