Guys... I'm really sorry to say this. But my car is in the shop and I'm hoping to get it back tomorrow. Unfortunately, my estimate for repairs will seriously cut into my budget and what I had set aside for this trip. As it stands, I will not be able to make the meet.

I'm very disappointed as I so very much wanted to meet each and every one of you. You don't know how much I was looking forward to sharing some time with you all. Most especially Preston and Brian as we've all gotten to know one another a little bit better. For me it would have been an opportunity to be with other gay men and have some fun. Having just come out of the closet I don't have any social contacts like I do here on JUB. I hope that you will all have a grand time and I hope that perhaps we can make another one a possibility.

Again, I'm sorry that I won't be in attendance. :(

Things to do in Dallas!

Just a reminder to everyone else IN Dallas, who've not reserved a room at The Belmont, we're all going to meet at the patio bar at the Belmont early THIS Saturday evening, March 18 at 6:30pm.

I've ordered appetizers and finger food trays so that we'll have something to "nosh" on until we can decide collectively what to do for the evening! (donations will be appreciated ;) )

I spoke with Lena at the The Belmont, and she informed me that more than nine reservations have been made for rooms by members of JUB.

So I'm expecting at least a dozen or so members there. Seth and Thundersizzle have sent me t-shirts, and copies of JUSTUSBOYS Magazine.com Winter 2006 Edition; I've only got enough t-shirts for those who've contacted me in advance.

I for got about this meet since I haven't visited jub much lately.

It looks like you guys had a good time. No gay bars for me, but if I had remembered, I might have joined you for dinner or at the party.

i cannot answer your question but i was in Dallas over last weekend and it was awful. I dont know what happened to that place it used to be so fun and vibrant...maybe someone from the area can shed some light on this or maybe im just imagining things?
