My homeowner messed up his knee in a fall last week. He's staying with his sister in her one-story home until he's better. So I'm caretaker for a little Senegal parrot:

It sounds like you're having a good time in Ohio. Sometimes it's nice to tour colleges and the surrounding college towns. There's something peaceful but also energetic about them.

It sounds like you had a great time attending that Wanamaker organ concert. Let's hope that whoever gets to own the building preserves it, and allows periodic performances to be put on. That is too great a treasure to be allowed to disappear.

I see you've been attending some NHL hockey games, with the NY Islanders and the NJ Devils. It's cool that you could ride the Newark Light Railway. I used to ride TriRail, a commuter rail line between West Palm Beach and Miami a lot. I used to go to Fairchild Tropical Gardens in Miami a lot on that rail. I would have to get up really early, like about 5:30, to ride TriRail from West Palm Beach to Miami, and then transfer to Metrorail in Miami, which was easy enough. But then I had to transfer to a bus route to the Gardens, and the last one in the morning left the Metrorail station at 8:30, and didn't resume running until almost 3 in the afternoon, so I was at the Gardens for a while. In the afternoon, I had to reverse the itinerary. I'm thinking of checking the schedules to go back down there again. I could drive, but the traffic is atrocious, and I'd rather arrive at the Garden in a more relaxed state.
 
All is well. I'd rate the Porkroll party 7 out of 10.. Lots of hot men, places to sit, but not-great music. I did stay until the final hour.

Monday is Yankees night!
 
Monday night was fun at the Yankees game. I love home runs and there were FIVE of them. One for the Royals, from Bobby Witt Jr., and four from the Yankees. Curiously, each was a solo HR...nobody ever on base...so the final score was 4-1.

Next week I see the Red Sox at Fenway Park!
