"Thank you little fucker" Family shocked by waiter's comment on their receipt

Molly sounds like a dog name.

What is "1x not decided on pudding" and "1x remember cheese"?

I used to work in retail at Walmart and I had this one customer who thought it would be cute to have her little kid hand me all of the merchandise that they had in the cart piece by piece, ONE PIECE AT A TIME!!! The trouble with that is, I had three customers with full carts lined up behind this lady and also my immediate supervisor got pissed at me because I didn't go to break when she wanted me to because that threw her planned break schedule way off (at Walmart they send so many people to breaks or lunch at a time and then when they get back another group goes and so forth). That woman doing that pissed me off because it was not cute and I got in trouble because of the backed up customers not getting checked out in a timely fashion. I understand what the woman did was wrong, but I can understand why she did it. People need to realize that it is not cute when little kids constantly annoy other people because the kids think it is fun.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the term "manageress."

Gads, if we actually distinguish between men and women, we might as well distinguish between manager and manageress. Otherwise it's a pointless exercise.

FBI's 10 Most Wanted:
1. A 30 year old er... person.
2. A tall light-skinned... person.
3. etc

The owner is "consulting his lawyers?"

Who knows what she had to put up with, before the brat became the "cherry on the parfait"?
It was unprofessional but sometimes people just blow.
I too blame the parents for their childrens misbehavior, but sometimes servers cannot say or do anything. That's when we as paying customers should complain to the offending parties and management ourselves.

Another valid point is that apparently this is a fast food restaurant and if they are the same in Britain as in the US, take out is always a viable option.
Secondly it was brand new. Any restaurant from fast food to fine dining takes a while to iron out the kinks.I have read reviews from professional restaurant reviewers who said they reviewed the place too soon to be fair.

I've worked in fast food restaurants and sometimes you get bored and fool around. I'm sure the person in question didn't mean any real harm in writing that on the till. He perhaps wasn't so smart printing it out for the customer to see though.

because Incompetent is something else:

–adjective 1. not competent; lacking qualification or ability; incapable: an incompetent candidate.
2. characterized by or showing incompetence: His incompetent acting ruined the play.

being a "Manageress" whatever that means" -- she probably had the KSA's required for the position - (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) it was her execution that was flawed--bigtime..
She most definately was unprofessional, irresponsible, and failed to represent her employeer properly --(acted like a childish ass) - but i don't think incompetent is the right word to describe her actions. I'm just sayin....

Here we go again:

Burger King's F#*# You Leads to Firings

Burger King corporate stepped in and fired two of its employees after a drive through receipt with some choice words made it on national television.

Sacramento resident Francisco Perez told KCRA TV after ordering food at the Sacramento restaurant, he noticed his receipt read "f--- you" in the area that would normally say "thank you." The four-letter profanity was spelled out not once, but twice.

One day after that story aired, a Burger King manager and an employee have been let go according to a company statement released Wednesday.

The "manageress" should have politely asked the couple to take the child outside until she stopped screaming. If they refused, or if the child persisted to scream, they should have been asked to leave.

That this employee does not know how to spell as common a word as "little" is appalling, just as appalling as Willow Palin's ignorance of the basic rules of grammar.

My partner and I have walked out of restaurants when the staff declined to inform other patrons that they needed to quiet their screaming children.

Perfect story for the Mail. The Mail Online is my guilty pleasure.

I think parent's now days are too lazy to make their kids behave, and just tune them out.

A new menu item called 'Thankyyou littell f***er' appeared on a family's receipt after their child acted up during a long wait for food. This happened to parents Craig and Kimberley Cartin at a Mexican restaurant in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Thanks for the story, you little fucker. :p

I still don't understand how can someone change the receipt template. Can anyone enlighten me?

When you enter an item that's been ordered, you have to "tell" the cooks details.

We used to get silly with it by saying "Kiss me baby", etc., when it was slow and we got bored.

I'll have the Pasta Primavera -- now show me your tits !!

What an over-reaction! The language the parents are reported to have used to describe their rat-bag's behaviour is clearly under-stating her misbehaviour, and the idea of firing somebody for something like this is just absurd! One apologises as briefly as possible and customer and staff part ways. Frankly, the staff ought to have asked the family to take the misbehaving wretch outside - it is unfair and uncivilised for other patrons to be expected to tolerate this rubbish. Parents need to learn that their children must learn to participate in social discourse with some amount of grace.

I meant to say it'd be worth it to give a piece of MY mind to people like that.

*Too bad the edit option on original posts times out.

It's a 2 year old child. An adult upset about a 2 year old's behavior

OMFG...mexican food in England? That is what most offends me. Ain't no real mexican food like out here in the SW
