That's the problem with trolls -- their view is obscured by the bridge above them.

And the main thing that makes them unhappy is anyone else being happy.

No baiting, bickering, or lying in wait for favorite food species can change the fact that four million dollars went toward a greater good. No deflection or culture war point scoring takes that away.

The problem with trolls is that, too often, they are a cloud obscuring the sight of those who call "trolls" the people they see in front of them.

Then their own unhappiness needs to be projected too on those who reveal to them all that they are reluctant to see, much less accept, because if something makes them unhappier than what they perceive as unpleasant, is feeling stupid for not being able to have detected those "unpleasant" facts.

That's what trollism is ultimately about: the perceived pointless and randomness arising from one's own unwillingless to accept a reality that would crush their assumed, comfortable world vision.

A true troll will make no sense: when people are afraid to admit a sense that counters their own prejudices, you are not a troll, you become a troll. Most trolls are not: they are merely labelled so. They are the new heretic.

Exactly: they went toward a greater good. Do you realize how abstract is that. They "went": how are they doing in their destination, assuming they have reached it, of course.

"Greater good": that catch phrase *pun intended* can hold absolutely everything, from global preservation, through collateral damages, up to final solutions.
