The problem isn't that the "the right", or rather the "the extremes" on both sides don't have a core set a values. The problem is that you don't agree with them. That does not mean that they do not have any. The problem, as I see it is that whenever someone posts comments that are diametricly opposed to the majority on this form, they are simply "regurgitating" comments from the talking heads and are "programed" or are dismissed out of hand of this so called "80%"
The problem, while I often disagree with Alfie, the "colorfull comments" that he uses is enough to dismiss anything he says

The 80% says the sames things about the 20%.

We all have something in common here.

Primarily that we do not share the same rights and privelages that our parents have, or have had.

One would think that at a Gay Porn site individuals in a political forum here have more in common in their politics.

I really like most all of you, and it's been fun having to get to know the characters who post here. I'd be really impressed to see what we could accomplish if we were all on the same page, while agreeing to disagree. :D

And I would say you enjoy exchanging ideas but like to pull a cord or two in posters you know. This forum would be like C-SPAN at three AM if we all simply stuck to the facts and exchanged ideas. SO I like the mindless post---sometimes. Sometimes the inane post simply reflect on the poster. That in itself is enough for me. I don't need to prove them wrong or find their agreement because I sincerely doubt any single member of JUB will have their course corrected listening to another member.

If anything JUB teaches you to provide facts and do some looking before opening your trap. Take for instance Alfie's insistance that there is no liberal media. There was a recent study conducted by the BBC that concluded that the BBC was liberally biased. They conducted the study upon themselves and stated emphatically that their news service was entirely un-biased. The first articles failed to mention the "News" caveat. Now it is fairly strange to me that they agree that the entire organization is run by left wing lunatics but there is no bias in choice of coverage on their news service. However logic doesn't play well at JUB. You must have a study conducted at Standford and reinforced by the fine future leaders at Harvard. Because of course we ought to believe every word they say.....I digress. Point is, I may have posted such a inflammatory article less than a year ago but JUB has made me really second guess the "NEWS" instead of simply believing what it is I like to hear.

Well it couldnt hurt. If they would adjourn then I could sleep but nooooooo... they have to switchto some back room committee from last march after they are done with today......make them stop.
