Dude, it was so obvious!! The damn time on the clock wasn't changing for a reason and any moron would've figured that one out.

Ummmmm it was really really obvious. About just as obvious as everyone figuring out from a postage stamp that they were supposed to go to the place on the stamp. I mean come on. You have to get an object. You need to unlock a lock. You look for numbers on that object and the most obvious answer is the time... seeing as its' you know a watch and all and it's not moving. That wasn't exactly a quantum leap.


In other new HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA Mika is such a dumb ass!! I'm so glad she's gone. Meghan's beginning to get on my nerves though, as is Ms. America's tendency to let Hubby do EVERYTHING... I mean no matter what the challenge it's like... oh I don't do water, I don't do math, I don't do heat, I don't do cold.... do you do anything? It would be nice if at least one of the couples had a female who was the most capable. Also how fucking dumb are the brothers!?!!? They had a calculator and they couldn't do division.... really????
 
UGH stupid Mika, this could have been the episode that the Globetrotters would have finally gone home and she ruined it. :(
 
The announcer said that the watch was a customary gift so why would anyone think it would be the combination. And to make it worse there wasnt even any discussion about it. It was just automatic for it.

The host said teams are gonna have to figure out that the time was the combination but there was no figuring out they just knew it was the time and that didnt seem realistic.


It would have made more sense if they made it riddle something like, "you need to open me at the right time" or something to make them think about the watch.

Am I the only one who was happy that the Globetrotters survived where Mika and Cannan lost. I hated the Bible Thumpers and have found the globetrotters to be amusing. I'd rather they stick around longer.

There's something that rubs me the wrong way about the Globetrotters, like they're always trying to put on a show. As much as I didn't like Mika and Canaan, at least we knew they were expendable and would have probably gone home soon had Mika just went down the damned slide. And let's face it, Mika is hilarious. Did she ask if a "Muslim clock works different" when Canaan was figuring out the combination? Now that the GTs are still in the race, they'll probably recover some ground and knock some of my favorite teams out.

And we finally got some shirtless brothers! The shorter one is so cute! The poker players' crush on them is so funny. I can't wait to see their faces when the Sam and Dan out themselves.

And Bryan has such a hot body :drool:

I don't know I'm not feeling threatened by the Globetrotters. They're not getting a real winners edit. From the beginning I pegged them as a 4th or 5th place finish but I could be wrong. The editting seems to be building up the brothers more than their performance really reflects so I get the feelign they make it to at least the final 3. Team Ms. America has also been all over the place but normally so much coverage early on means you wind up heading home before the end.

Typically I find that winners/top 3 get an establishing story arc in the first episode or so and then fall out of focus until the middlish. It's hard to explain how they do it but after the first episode there's something in the episode that make me say these guys feel like a 'strong' team or these guys don't regardless of their rankings in leg one or two.

Maybe that's just me. Either way i'm not threatened by the GTs so perhaps that's why I find them more amusing.
 
Yea I think Sheyne and gf are getting a winners' edit. Which sucks b/c I hate Sheyne and his "I'm wicked awesome" personality.
 
Wow, if team Zebra had asked for a calculator at the gold challenge they would have won. The bros having a $2 calculator was a smart move. Having befriended the pp was also a good move thus far.

I felt horrible for Mika because I have an irrational fear of heights (although I would not apply for AR knowing it would work against me.) I took some friends to the World Trade Center in the late 90s, got off the elevator at the observation deck and my knees crumbled and I couldn't walk up to the window. I great employee kept me righ by the up elevator until it came back and let me take it back down. Canaan was an ass for trying multiple times to push her down. He should have talked to her calmly and tried to convince her.

I have 2 teams that I like a lot. Team Zebra (even if she is a little entitled, while he is just awesome), and Dan and Sam. I love those brothers.

I am not so against Cheyne. He does have a great sense of fun about him.

The watch challenge was funny in the the GTs took forever. I wonder why he thought it was the date and not the time on the face of the watch? However he did laugh at himself and at the thought of what his hood buds were thinking of him.

Dad and son seem to be picking up where one fails. The Dad is stronger. All that red dye is seeping into sonny's few brain cells. I wonder what their issues were as child and father?
 
And the gay eye candy at the finish line was great. So was Cheyne coming out of the water after taking a dunk at the finish line.
 
I could not believe that dumb bitch Mika! She's like an 8 year old girl! I would have been scared but for a million dollars, I would have gone down that slide face first! I loved seeing the brothers going down that slide. The way they yelled and landed in the water, legs up and shirtless. Yummy!

like i cant believe she travels all around the world and a slide is the reason why she stops...like srsly...some ppl are so ungrateful its pathetic

With that being said..the globetrotters pulled a dick move. But i guess they did wat they had to. Right now theyve moved to my least favourite team spot.
so far my faves are:

1. Brian & Ericka
2. Sam & Dan
3. Meghan & Cheyne
4. Maria & Tiffany
5. Gary & Matt
6. Flight Time & Big Easy

With that being said....i think Mika and Canaan deserved to go after performance, regardless of how much i wanted him.
I was rly surprised with the girls performance this week though! they did very well. And I'm pretty much okay with any of my top 4 winning. So i have a good chance at happiness this season lol
 
Hated to lose Canaan, but at least we got to see him shirtless before he left. I thought he was the hottest guy.

It would have been nice to see Mika overcome her fears and go down the slide. That is exactly why I like the show. It gives people an opportunity to do things they'd otherwise not do and to overcome personal fears and demons along the way. She could have used this to build her confidence as a person.

All that being said, I don't think it was right for Canaan to try and manhandle her down the slide. Instead of berating her, he should have tried to calm her down and encourage her. That couple is not meant to be.

I didn't like what the GT did at the end, but I do like them in general. At this point, I wouldn't be mad if any team won. All of my hated teams are already out. If I have a favorite, it's the brothers. We got to see them shirtless, too. Sweet.

Canaan is not cute at all to me. Very generic face. Terrible highlights and dye job.
