i no longer have a speedo body and never did have the BULGE part totally hadled. so what, when i am doing the water thing i am looking for maximum sun exposure and minimum wet clammy suit when out of the water.at home in my backyard it is naked city...those 2 story houses within view don't have to look and if they do oh well.

How is a Speedo not practical? Surely anything designed to be a swimsuit is practical as a swimsuit.

Speedo's are a privilege - not a right. Unfortunately for the most part when I see someone in a Speedo - they really need a set of trunks for the beach. It is one thing to have a bit of a belly and a Speedo - but when you have a gut that is overhanging your Speedo and you have a small cock and balls - not a good look.

I can see putting a ban on thongs, but, for the most part, men's Speedos cover a whole lot more area than most women's bikini bottoms. Very few men need to wax for a Speedo.

Speedos or 'budgie smugglers' as they are often referred to in Australia, are one of the icons of beach wear especially by the Australian Surf Lifesavers and Surf Boat Rescue crews.
On the right body they are fantastic as can be seen in the various Speedo blogs.
For those of us like myself who are out of shape wearing Speedos is ridiculous and board shorts cover me nicely.

I wear speedos and have done private modeling for speedos. I've never been a fan of speedos until I actually wore them. They are tight and kinda squeeze to your body but it really looks good on someone that has the body to pull it off. I'm pretty slim so I think it looks pretty good on me but I don't go around wearing them a lot since they do get uncomfortable after a while.

I can also understand why they would ban speedos but thats unfair when its a lot easier for a womens top to fall off than a mans junk to pop out.

Its happenned a few times that cops have taken issue with me wearing what im wearing in my display pic, but i never see them herassing females wearing their bikinis, so ive always refused to put anything more on.

just fyi, speedos are far more hygienic than board shorts which pick up germs, viruses debris and other crap between sojourns in the water. this info per a pool manager and maintenance person. actually nude is best health wise and esthetically.
