What's the best thing that happened to you today?

I didn't do much today, just cleaned house. But about an hour ago, my daughter called and I talked to her for quite awhile about her Halloween costume. She wants to be a polar bear with a tiger face. (We'll reevaluate that in a couple of weeks.) I had a great time talking to her and she's spending the night tomorrow.

I spent a good part of the day cleaning and rearranging her play room so that it will be ready for some serious fun tomorrow.

So what's yours?
 
The best thing that happened to me today was when I got to talk to my daughter. I don't get to see her as much as I once did. It saddens me, but I'm glad at the moments that I do get. :-)

I'm lucky that I get to see my daughter as often as I do (though it isn't as often as it used to be). I get very sad thinking about how one day I'll probably live farther away from her. Glad you got to talk to yours.
 
My boyfriend got home and gave me big hug and kiss, then told me that he had missed me.He was gone about 5 hours. It really doesn't get much better...
 
I'm gettings PMs and e-mails from all sorts of new friends lately (many of them JUBbers). I never had this many friends as a str8 guy.

Also, I came out to the first person other than my soon-to-be-ex wife today. He's also gay; a friend from a club I'm a member of. We talked for hours. He's the first "real life" (as opposed to online) friend that I've come out to.

It felt really, really good!

But hey, the best thing that happened to me today, ummm, can't think of anything.

I've had a tough week at my student placement school. Today was the first day my classes were going smoothly in a while. :D

I chatted with a cute guy whom I have been having a silly crush over. Teased him, joked with him and then, he touched my arm. A split second, and I was that mili-second in my own heaven. sigh.. : )
