I thought the acting on Noah's was meh, but I liked the characters a lot.

Are we talking about the same Noah's Arc that use the same tired
stereotypes as well? The same group who made a Motion Picture
call "Jumping the Broom"? That shit was one of the worse depictions
of Gay men I've ever seen. I tried to watch the movie on Logo at
my friend's house, and I ended up leaving because I was too
disgusted by the flamboyant clowns parading around on screen.

I feel what you're saying..Basically you'd like to see a Drama or Comedy on the scale of "Queer as Folk" featuring People of Color.....If Black Producers & Writers can produce Good work with "Straight" shows like "Soul Food (Drama)/"New York Undercover" & "Girlfriends(Comedy)"/"Living Single" then it's time for somebody to step up to the plate and give us a SOLID Gay Drama/Comedy centered around People of Color...

How hard can it be to create more Black Gay characters like "Keith" from "Six Feet under"? It's a shame that we have to settle for the stereotypical shit.....With all that said I remain hopeful..

I really like Noah's Arc, too.

I'm sorry, but Noah's Arc WAS a great show. And yes, the show was 1000 times better than the movie.

Sure, they were a bit stereotypical, but they were still portrayed in a good way, at least imo. It had good writing, good acting, it's was realistic and not too "out there". I liked it.

Yeah Zercy, lighten up. Most things aren't going to be wrapped up in a nice pretty package and always say or do the right thing. Noah's Arc took a while to grow on me, but eventually I came around. I wasn't crazy about the acting in the pilot, finally gave the show another chance and fell in love with characters. Anyway, my point is...give it a chance.

Anyway, I honestly don't think I could make it through a 30 minute show. Hell, I could barely make it through that 6 minute clip.
