Fuck the "only gay guys like Cher"shit. Check out her audiences. They're diverse but she does have a gay audience as well. Gays have good taste. I've liked her from day one when she and Sonny came out with "Baby Don't Go." Ballads, standards, pop, rock, she can do it all in her own very unique style. Awesome actress as well. Talent to spare.

I've heard Cher and Sonny compared to the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Why, they even share the same initials. And after the breakup, things just got better and better for C. - a thriving economy, an Oscar, the creative hub of the region, a #1 hit song - but, for S., things just kept going downhill until they hit a tree.

I don't like Cher. I don't hate or dislike Cher; I just don't particularly like her. I suppose I'm indifferent to Cher. I can understand the fuss, but it's not me. I do find the Cher-obsessed kinda comical.

I'm more of a Patti Smith kinda guy. If I want the over-the-top stuff, I'm more inclined toward Diamanda Galas.

I love both Patti and Diamanda AND Cher. this was not the place to post about them. Kinda rude to the OP. Maybe you should start your own Patti/Diamanda thread.
