Cher Album: A Woman's Love Stories

I put together a compilation and making a booklet as I am with all of Cher's Warner releases.

The album kinda goes in chronological order and how Cher was feeling. The relationships center around Sonny, David Geffen, and Allman. The message is that Cher has had her heart broken. Cher could only be the strongest women she could be. And these are love stories from a woman. So listen to hear her stories.

1.Just This One Time
2.All I Ever Need Is You [With Sonny Bono]
3.Don't Hide Your Love
4.I saw a man and he danced with his wife.
5.I'd rather believe in you
6.When you find out where You're going let me know
7.I Hate to sleep alone
8.Bell Bottom Blues
9.Make The man Love Me
10.Baby I Love You
11.Living In A House Divided
12.You're Not Right for me. [With Sonny Bono)
13.The greatest song I've ever heard
14.A Love like yours (Don't Come Knockin' Everyday) [With Harry Nilsson]
15.The Way Of Love
16.David's Song
17.Borrowed Time
18.Pirate
19.Long Distance Love Affair
20.Island
21.Do What You Gotta Do [With Gregg Allman]
22.One Honest Man
23.The Man I Love
24.A Woman's Story (Title Track)

For all Cher fans please lemme know what you think of this release.

Re: Cher Album: A Woman's Love Stories

I'm not familiar with every song on your list, but it looks like a great compilation. "A Woman's Story" is a pretty rare track, right?

I was actually working on a Cher compilation of my own last night, to put on my iPod. Nothing special though -- basically just a "greatest hits" with a few extras.

Re: Cher Album: A Woman's Love Stories

I ripped all cher's vinyl as lossless waves. I own the rare 45s that got deleted from her warner era. What do you think of the compilation?

Re: Cher Album: A Woman's Love Stories

Everything of the Warner Bros. Album was ignored by the public because the public's image of her changed at the time and did not perform well. Some consider the Stars album the best of her career now looking back. I ripped them all from mint lps and made cd covers inner inserts lyrics notes.. The album's theme is her love affairs of the 70s i should have put "too far gone" in there....

Cher: Just Begin Again

So I am putting together another Cher Compilation called Just Begin again which runs from 1987-1992.

When Lovers Become Strangers
Baby Im Yours
We All Sleep Alone
Some Guys
Shoop Shoop Song
Trail Of Broken Hearts
Love And Understanding
Skin Deep
Heart Of Stone
Oh No Not My Baby
Love Hurts
Just Like Jesse James
Dont Come Crying To Me
Save Up All Your Tears
If I Could Turn Back Time
Couldve been you
Just Begin Again
Whenever Youre Near
I Found Someone
After All

The Official CHER discussion thread

What is your favorite era of her career? Thoughts on this year's new album?

Re: The Official CHER discussion thread

Wow I can;t believe I've made so many Cher threads lol

Re: The Official CHER discussion thread

I love Cher. It would be impossible for me to pick a specific era/label, but I'm a big disco/pop/dance music fiend so I'd probably pick 70's and late 90's/00's as my favourites. I love all the club mixes.

I didn't know she had a new album - haven't heard a single thing about it. Has it been released yet?

Re: The Official CHER discussion thread

The only thing I've heard is that the new album is coming out later this year and she's supposed to be doing a duet with Lady Gaga.
I can't wait !!!!!!

Re: The Official CHER discussion thread

its not a duet....gaga just wrote it and gave her the song

Re: The Official CHER discussion thread

i dnt know her well but all i remember of her is how she lipsynched during divas live (turn back time song)

Did Cher eat Acid/Lsd in the 60s?

This was the psychedelic rock era when they started and ended in the 60s (Sonny & Cher.) Cher's solo efforts many times have the same sounds of psychedelic rock. Her album Jackson Highway (1969) is all psychedelic. I know Sonny & Cher said they were drug free, but I think that was a lie.

Re: Did Cher eat Acid/Lsd in the 60s?

I think it was a lie, too. Their TV show was family oriented and that probably played a big part in the lie.

Re: Did Cher eat Acid/Lsd in the 60s?

Cher probably did, the media wasn't as open as now. Linda Ronstadt did and smoked pot I was at a party, that she was at, and I did some too, I had such a crush on her, back then before she was realy famous. I remem ber my friends would say she not that good she will never make it.

Re: Did Cher eat Acid/Lsd in the 60s?

I KNEW IT!!!! Cher was def part of the psychedelic area.
