Yeah...Prima Donna should have been a single. A lot of the songs are radio-friendly though, perhaps she'll have half a dozen singles. Perhaps this will be a rare case where the album's sales explode six months or so after release.

Are there only 6 songs broadcast on the VH1 Storytellers? The rest of the songs she performed are only available as "bonus" on the VH1 website.

I'm actually surprised. I thought for sure she would've been able to secure the #1spot or produce higher sales, despite all the poor buzz. She heavily promoted this album and to only muster 112,000 units sold is really bad.

I like this song, it's fun, and I enjoyed her valley girl imitation ("I don't get it!!!").

The deluxe edition of the album is more enjoyable. After purchasing my copy, I agree with those who have said those 4 tracks should have replaced some on the standard edition.

I'm upset about all the bad press and album sales but what can you do? At the end of the day, I enjoy the album and that's all one can really expect nowadays with the current state of the music business.

On a different note, I finally got around to seeing her 'Storytellers' on VH1 and she was in rare form! Great vocals throughout the evening. But the standout performance of the night went to here first performance of 'I'm Ok'. She had never performed the song live before that night and it had me in tears.

How come all the good songs are on the deluxe version ?

Bobblehead
Birds of Prey
Stronger than ever
& Little dreamer

are the best songs on the record and they're not ever featured on the main record.
Obivously one of em is going to be used as a single...

What I recall reading from some troll on another forum was that after filming Burlesque Aguilera decided to record some more songs for Bionic and a few of the original tracks got pushed to deluxe tracks.

Im sorry but Christina fucked up big time. She made a series of horrible choices. Her first mistake was doing Burlesque. I'm a fan but does anyone in their right mind think this movie will do well? I sure as hell don't. She shouldnt have done the movie at this time. She is a singer. Music should be her priority. Not rearranging shit for a silly movie.

She even admitted on Storytellers the album was finished before she started filming. Doing this"cinematic masterpiece" inspired her want to add extra songs. The song that excited her the most NMT. WTF is wrong with her taste? It's so weird in interviews how she talks about being soooo excited and in love with this song. I just want to slap some sense into her. There are a lot of good songs and she just fucked things up with her dopey decisions.

And I know Ive mentioned this before but her Bionic look is so fucking awful. How is that weird short hairdo and stupid red lips futuristic?

Wow amazing performance. I've always liked that song and hearing her perform it gave me chills.

I really don't get why so many people say bad things about Christina. She is so talented and the emotions she conveys in her performances such as that one are so real. Keep doing your thing Christina, and don't let the haters get you down.

I agree. It just seems like she's the one to beat on at the moment. I seriously think no matter what she does next will be attacked. But I hope she sticks to her words and doesn't let these recent moments get to her and still releases good music.

I like that track list too but I would not include 'Elastic Love' (one of my least faves) and I'd add 'I Hate Boys' and 'Prima Donna' like the person before me said. And I'd keep 'Not Myself Tonight'.

I think the first single would have been 'Little Dreamers'. Then I would release 'Woohoo' with a killer video. Then I'd follow that up with 'You Lost Me' and then either 'Stronger Than Ever' or 'I Am'.
