I completely agree with HF, Hlas and Thanatos' comments. I enjoyed this chapter very much.

I wonder what Dax's reaction will be when he finds out Logan and Clark are the management team he was sent to replace by Bernard knowing them now as the heads of the Hospitality Division at SE.

I can't wait for the pool party where Dax gets to meet just about everyone at SE in particular Auggie among a few others.

Marvin needs to explain his actions for avoiding Lucky and in a believable way or he might be going back to the farm quicker than he thought.

I'm excited for the next installment finding out how the pool party went and Bernard getting the comeuppance he so richly deserves.

Got to agree with all my bent bros on this chapter. That was crazy, FT. Like HF, I kept looking for hints that Tex wasn't all he seemed to be, but I didn't find any. I think he's more of a free spirit kind of guy. He's like what you see is what you get. And from what he had to show, there was plenty to see and plenty to get.

:Like HF, I think Rowen definitely deeply cares about Lukcy. He's worried about him half the time. Like HF said, he's had anal intercourse with Josh and Jerome and both times felt something. He could be mellowing on the male to male sex thing. We know he certainly enjoys blow jobs from Josh. Rowen will really be concerned for Lucky if he breaks up with Marvin. It will be interesting to see if this develops into anything.

I love how Tex said he might as well have sex with Jake and Josh to get it out of the way so they didn't have to fantasize about it. He just gets right to the point. Smooth work. Gotta love him. So this chapter really got some thoughtful consideration and excellent comments. Tex does seem to be the genuine deal. I picture him as BC mentioned as kind of a free spirit, easy going but likes to have fun. He doesn't take life and sex too seriously, but is laid back and enjoys his friends and work. We still don't know about Lucky and Marvin. Will have to wait and see in the chapter following this next one. In the chapter posted tonight we enjoy watching Tex assimilate at the Sunday afternoon get-together and then Monday morning we deal with Bernard. So we'll see how that conversations goes. Chapter 772 – Sunday With Tex and Bernard Has An Unhappy Meeting

With Tex finally up, we enjoyed some coffee and donuts while shooting the shit. Jake finally wandered in as did Rowen. Rowen asked Tex how the couch was for sleeping. Tex admitted it was kind of nice. Rowen told him he spent some time sleeping there also when he first arrived and thought it was great for sleeping. Tex asked him what his security detail was all about. Rowen told him that there was an investigation going on in town for drugs and prostitution and we were familiar with the case in helping to break it to get rid of this element once and for all. He said he and Lucky had been working on it and were advised by the FBI to watch ourselves, which led Josh to talk to him about protection. Tex asked him what kind of protection he was talking about. I told Tex Rowen was good with handguns and rifles so we had both should we need them. I also bragged that Rowen, while still in the police academy, was doing some undercover work for the local police and FBI. Tex was really intrigued. Tex said it appeared Rowen was an important part of our organization. I assured Tex, Rowen was very important to all of us both personally and professionally. Tex thought that was great, saying we seemed to have great people in all areas of our operations. I told him we had nothing but the best. He said he hoped we had the same opinion about him when we finally got started.

There was a buzzer at the door. It was Clark and I let him in. He stripped down to his briefs seeing as he didn’t want to be overdressed for the occasion he claimed anyway. We got a kick out of it.

“Hey, I like you better in your briefs anyway. Much nicer to look at that way,” I commented as he came over and gave me a hug, then Jake.

“So I’m going to be working directly with Clark then and sometimes Logan? Is that what you tried to explain yesterday?” Tex asked. I told him that was the way it worked. “Not sure, but I thought Bernard mentioned there was only one person that I had to report to and that was a Will. I think I met him yesterday. But hey, the more the merrier. Clark seems like a great guy to work with,” Tex asked, trying to sort it all out in his mind.

“Well, with the shakeup we recently had due to your boss, we had to make some changes. It’ll all work out okay. You’ll see,” I assured him. He smiled.

“Hey, it couldn’t get much better than it already is, so just point me in the right direction and we’ll get this done. Bernard. Don’t know how well you know him but he seems a bit disorganized. I suppose he’s going to be spending some time here trying to bring me up to speed with his company so I know explicitly what I am to do and my time frames to accomplish what’s needed. He didn’t give me much information up front other than to get my ass up here, meet you guys and try to establish a rapport with you guys. Guess we have a decent rapport going, I’d say after last night,” he chided. I knew everyone was thinking of Tex’s performance at Gay Night and how well he assimilated there, but Jake and I were remembering the bedroom events developing even a deeper relationship involving all our asses.

“I thought with Josh and Jake’s blessings, I’d take you on a tour of the facility this morning and try to bring you up to date as to where we are and where we need to be and by when. You up for that?” Clark asked Tex. Tex got excited.

“Excellent idea, Clark. I was going to ask if we might be able to do that this morning as it sure would help me understand the whole situation better. I mean, I love hanging out in my underwear and I’m sure I’ll love hanging out naked with all you guys this afternoon, but it would help me greatly to understand just what it is we’re managing, what has been done to date and what remains to happen. I know we talked a bit about that yesterday afternoon in Josh’s office, but I’d love to see the facility. I also need to find a place to crash so Josh can have his couch back,” Tex stated.

“Josh, I got to thinking, I have a two-bedroom suite in the dorm already so if it’s okay with you, Tex and I can share that for the time being until we can figure out what we need to do. No sense in him renting another place somewhere. I have plenty of room and it’s just me,” Clark commented.

“Actually, that would work out great as you guys are going to be tied at the hip for a few weeks anyway. That would give you more time together to get things rolling,” I replied. “That okay with you, Tex? It’s brand new and it’s right where you need to be unless you want more privacy somewhere away from the facility,” I suggested.

“Sounds perfect, Clark. Just about the same as what I’ve been used to living with guys I worked with at the Gaylord. Sure saves on transportation and everything. I was wondering if you didn’t have some sort of accommodations set up for the manager on the premises. This sounds great actually if you don’t mind, Clark,” Tex replied. Clark said he thought it would work out extremely well. “I guess I need to put some clothes on. Can we run around the apartment we’ll have in our underwear? As long was we can do that, I’m all in,” Tex chided. We all laughed, saying there was nothing better.

“We can run around naked for all I care if you’d like that better,” Clark teased, but I was sure he was half-serious. Tex chuckled.

“Don’t temp me. That sounds even better,” Tex replied. Tex found his clothes and got dressed. I told Clark to come back for a light lunch before we headed over to the house. He said they’d be back in plenty of time. Off they went.

Jake asked me what my plans were for Monday morning when Bernard was here as neither Bernard or Tex knew what was going on. I told him we were just going to serve them with contract termination papers and tell him to get the hell out. “What about Tex then? Won’t he be confused as to where he stands? Are you going to clue him in ahead of time?” Jake asked. I smiled.

“Why, he already knows he has a job with us, he just doesn’t know Bernard or his company is no longer involved. All will be good. I don’t want to risk someone tipping off Bernard as to how he’s going to get his ass handed to him in the morning,” I replied. Jake got the biggest grin on his face. “Hey, if you want in on that meeting, you’re more than welcome,” I offered. Jake shook his head chuckling.

“As much as I’d love to see that happen, we have too much work to do at the dorm, and I hate nobody being there to keep things going. Have Will video it and I’ll watch it later. That should win some awards,” Jake said, excitedly. I almost had to agree with him.

We did laundry and some house cleaning as usual on Sunday mornings. Rowen was a big help. He seemed a little edgy for some reason. I asked him if everything was all right. He said he was fine, but I could tell he wasn’t. I grabbed him and brought him in for a hug. “Tell me what’s wrong, Rowen. This isn’t like you, and I hate you’re not your usual happy self this morning.”

“I don’t know, Josh. I’m just worried about Lucky and what may have happened between him and Marvin. I don’t want to see him hurt. I’d just like to know if everything is okay or what. If I just knew he was okay and things worked out, I’d be fine,” Rowen told me. I told him we’d see them in a bit at the house for the swim party. “I know, but he might not be able to talk that much with Marvin there with him,” Rowen replied.

“Hey we can get him aside somehow and find out if everything is okay. You can get details tomorrow when you work with him again. I’m sure everything will be okay one way or another,” I replied.

“It’s the ‘other’ I’m concerned about. Lucky worships Marvin, Josh. He talks about him all the time, how wonderful and thoughtful he his, how great he feels in his arms and in bed, well he says he just loses himself it’s so wonderful, which is why he wants him to move over here in the worst way. As strong as he thinks he might be, if they split up, I just know he’s going to hurt like crazy, Josh. I just think he’ll be lost, totally lost. Hey, and thanks for asking if something was wrong. You’re the greatest friend ever. It really feels great to have friends that care,” Rowen commented.

“Like you care about Lucky, Rowen. You’re just as thoughtful. See?” I told him. He had to stop and think about that for a minute.

“Guess you must be rubbing off on me in more ways that one,” he replied with a smile on his face. We had a good chuckle.

Clark and Tex arrived back at the apartment around noon. They both stripped to their undies as Rowen, Jake and I were still in ours. Dylan and Garth had left for the house long before, and Zach and Brady had spent the night there last night. I got out some lunch meat and chips and cut up some tomatoes and lettuce for sandwiches. Tex accused me of eating healthy. I told him we tried as much as we could. I asked him what all he got to see.

Chapter 722 - B

“Hey Clark did a great job of showing me around. It’s weird being the only two people in that big building. Just think of what it’ll be like when all the students get here in the fall. Oh, and the apartment is fantastic, Josh. I wasn’t expecting anything as nice as that. It’s great. I sure didn’t have even a tenth as nice as this apartment at the Gaylord. We were kind of in a basement wing, but here, we have the penthouse. Damn, I was impressed. Clark helped me take all my clothes up in our private elevator. Interesting you have some rooms reserved for yourselves there should you need them for guests or to house some of your extra friends if you run out of room at your house, which I’m interested in seeing. Clark showed me around as best he could. He said we’d get to see a lot more of the place tomorrow. I liked the convenience store and the amenities center was damn nice for a dormitory. That has to be a big selling point for rooming there. I mean you have an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a weight and exercise room, dressing rooms with showers and steam and sauna. I mean, it’s like a small resort from what I saw. The dining hall looks like a very nice restaurant. There is a business center and I loved the conference rooms that were made available for study groups and small conferences. That was a neat touch. Clark showed me a few of the different suites. Oh, and I loved the group showers in some of them. Don’t you know the guys will have fun in some of those,” Tex chided. All the suites are well appointed. If the students don’t love living there, I don’t know what could possibly make them happy then, as it’s a great place. You guys put a lot of thought into putting this together,” Tex exclaimed.

“So you think you can manage this facility okay then?” I had to ask.

“Absolutely. It won’t be that hard to manage as, like I said, the guests are permanent and not constantly moving in and out, well at least for most of each semester anyway. Sure, there will be transfers and situations like that, but nothing like a hotel. We just have to keep the program moving and the staff filled. Clark says we have a lot of the staff already hired or committed at this point so he seems confident we’re in pretty good shape with that. From the looks of things all your guys have the assembly of furniture and furnishings well under way. We didn’t get to see all of what you’ve done, but from what I did see, it looked great so far,” Tex explained.

“The way I have it figured, Tex, we’re ahead of schedule thanks to the extra help we recently got. I want to be ahead and not behind. You just never know what will sneak up and grab you by the balls that you don’t expect,” Jake told him. Tex said he agreed to that one-hundred percent.

We had a quick lunch, then put on some shorts and t-shirts to travel to the house. Clark and Tex followed Jake, Rowen and I over there since they’d be leaving to go back to the dorm after dinner sometime. We parked out front. I used the code to get in the front door. We could hear the guys all having fun in the back yard. Tex was blown away with the house, especially when I told him what we paid for it. When he saw the inside he thought we were insane. He loved the great room with the big fireplace. He said the kitchen was a chef’s kitchen, one to be revered. I asked him if he could cook. He said absolutely as that was a requirement of hotel management to be able to help out in the kitchen or for banquets if necessary. Clark asked if he would cook for them in the apartment. He said he’d be delighted. I told him he could cook for us in our kitchen also which he gladly agreed to.

If Tex wasn’t blow away with the upstairs of the house he literally was blown away with the renovated basement with all the amenities. He couldn’t get over the exercise room, the pool table room, the bar, then the showers like at the apartment and the steam and sauna. He said he if lived here, he’d never leave as there’d be no reason to, especially if the house was filled with naked gay men. He said he thought that would be a dream come true.

Rowen parked his guns where he could get to them quickly if he needed them, but not out in plain sight. I told him he could have a lot of both of those things to enjoy in the winter. He just shook his head. “Got a lot of things I’ll have to get used to living here, but that’s okay,” he said. “I love new experiences.”

“I don’t understand it, guys. I’ve been here for a what amounts to possibly a day and I feel like I’ve known you guys for a long time. Why would the two guys that Bernard hired to take care of this project up and leave like this with all that’s here and you guys also? I just can’t conceive of that ever happening. The last thing I’d ever want to do is leave you guys unless you have some crazy personalities I haven’t seen yet. I don’t see it, because everyone here seems excited to be here with all of you. It just doesn’t make sense,” Tex said somewhat scratching his head after getting excited seeing and hearing all about our organization.

“Maybe it had something to do with Bernard,” I suggested. Tex had to stop and think about that some.

“You know, you may have something there. He is a rather peculiar person come to think of it. I didn’t get to know him all that well that one night we first met, but he seemed genuinely interested in hiring me for some reason, then I didn’t hear from him for months until he just called and told me to get my ass up here and jump in as his management here took off. I thought maybe someone offered them more money or something, but spending this small amount of time with you guys, I don’t think any amount of extra money would have made me leave, just because of the people involved. Money is one thing, but if you admire and thoroughly enjoy what you’re doing and the people involved, it isn’t the end all some people think it is,” Tex explained. We all agreed, especially Logan and Clark. “So, did the guys get along with all of you? I don’t mean to be nosy, but I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why two guys that were well liked by you guys, would just take up and leave like that. Something doesn’t add up,” Tex suggested.

“Well, we don’t know this Bernard character at all. We’ve only heard of him and what we’ve heard was not all that good. I would somewhat speculate that he had something to do with their departure,” I replied. Will said he suspected the same thing also. That didn’t settle well with Tex.

“You know, I guess this arrangement with the hospitality company will work out okay,” Tex started to say. “In a way, I almost wish you were doing this on your own and not involving a third-party and found me that way. I know once the third-party takes over, I’ll have less to do with you guys and more to do with the third-party, the Bernards of the world, I guess you could say. I hate the fact that I might not be as involved with you guys then. I’m sure I’ll see Clark on a regular basis, but maybe not the rest of you as often. I just think it’d be exciting to work directly with you guys,” Tex mentioned.

“We’ll be around maybe more than you think or expect, Tex. We promise not to alienate you once school starts,” I assured him. “Plus, if you’re going to help with Gay Night, I mean we’ll see a lot of you there,” I chided. He gave me an embarrassed smile, saying ‘gotcha’.

“Still, once you turn the building over to us, and we take over, you just collect the monthly lease payment from what I gather and a percentage of the profit. I haven’t read the contract yet, but I’m supposed to get a copy of it when Bernard comes tomorrow. I’m sure corporate takes care of most of that, and I’ll more or less be the operational manager. I am going to have to find an assistant manager also, but I’ll start looking for that person soon enough, or maybe Bernard has hired someone for me. Who knows?” Tex commented.

“Trust me when I say, I think we’ll make great headway tomorrow after our meeting with Bernard. I’m sure he’ll be very surprised at what all has taken place since he asked you to come. Everything will work out just fine, Tex. Trust me on that,” I told him. He seemed to like what I had to say in that regard.

Rowen stopped by, looking concerned as it was almost dinner time. I asked him what was up. “I haven’t seen Lucky and Marvin yet, Josh. I’m kind of concerned about them. They usually spend all afternoon with us and play volleyball and hang out. I usually get to hang out with the two of them, but they haven’t shown up. Do you think we should be worried?” Rowen asked me. I shrugged my shoulders.

“I don’t think we should be worried, other than they may have needed more time to talk, and decided it was more important for the two of them to work things out instead of hang out with us,” I replied. Rowen thought that made sense, but he was hoping they’d be here with good news so he didn’t have to worry about them anymore. I told him affairs of the heart sometimes took some time to fix. He guessed I might be right. I asked him what was doing. He said he was playing water volleyball with Trevor, Andy, Stewart and Colt. He said they were all a lot of fun. “Watch Trevor, as you know he can be a handful and a huge tease,” I jokingly warned. Rowen chuckled.

“Yeh, he’s already told me if he wins, I have to fuck his ass as he wants my cock in the worst way,” Rowen replied, chuckling. “He’s got a lot of hair in that ass for sure as he had to bend over and show me. “We haven’t seen Cal in a couple of days either, Josh. I was just thinking about that,” Will commented. He was right. I told him that I was sure he was busy as the big case he was working on, he was hoping to bring to a conclusion this week if all went well. Will told Rowen to make sure his guns were loaded and ready to go if that was the case. Tex asked about that. We told him it was a long story, but we didn’t see any danger in any of that for us, but Cal and Lucky always wanted us to be prepared for anything. Kyle and Blake pulled up a couple of chairs to talk to us, having just gotten out of the pool. They were still dripping wet.

“He’s on a crusade to have his ass fucked by every guy here in our family. I guess he figures you’re the newbie and he needs attended to. That would be my guess,” Kyle replied. Tex shook his head. “He’s an Aussie from Australia here to play basketball although originally recruited from Clemson to join Josh’s swim team getting a scholarship here at Uni. Something happened to change all that. Our coach of our national championship basketball team, who was Josh’s big brother in the sports frat here on campus, found out he was one of the best three-point shooters in the country that no one knew about. Now, miraculously, he’ got a scholarship from the basketball team. We have three basketball team stars here already and then four more working here for the summer. Anyway, Auggie has to have everyone’s cock up his ass sooner or later. It’s a quest of his for some crazy reason,” Kyle explained. Tex shook his head in disbelief.

“Actually, Tex, I don’t think Auggie gives a shit if you are technically not involved. With the schlong you have, he definitely thinks he has to have it,” Kyle chided. Tex shook his head chuckling.

It was dinner time so we all put on a pair of shorts, no undies, and headed to pick up a steak and all the fixins. Tex said he was going to import some Texas bar-b-que for us as he had a caterer for that in Dallas that made the most outstanding bar-b-que ever. I told him I thought that would be a treat. Tex had his share of meat and beer and said it was the best he’d had in ages. We really knew how to put out a spread. I re-introduced him to Allen and OBB, who had no idea what he was going to be doing for us, but loved the fact he was here, naked and had a huge dick. At least they didn’t tell him that, other than they were glad he was here. Tex said the two were a cute couple. I told Tex I had converted Allen my Freshmen year from a homophobe to a full-on gay boy. Tex did a doubletake on that one, saying there was so much he had to know about all of us. I introduced Tex during my company briefing after dinner. I just mentioned he was here working with us in connection with the new dormitory project and wanted to get to know all of us better. He told all of them he wanted to get to know everyone, but it would take a bit to get to know all their names, but he’d eventually get there.

After that, Will and Logan left, somewhat anxious to get on with a some well overdue love making, I had to imagine. I asked Clark if he wanted to swim out to the grotto, and invited Tex to go along. We dropped our shorts and dove into the pool in the deep end, then we swam under water to come up in the grotto and sit on one of the shelves. Tex thought that was cool. You could see the stars up above. He said they were a lot brighter in the country side than they were in the Metroplex area of Dallas/Ft. Worth. He said they reminded him of the piney woods of East Texas where he grew up on the farm. I told him I always enjoyed the stars on the farm at night in the small area I was from down state. He said he’d love to see it sometime. Clark said he would too as it had to be different than California for sure. Tex was sitting between Clark and I on the shelf seat. He put his arms around Clark’s and my shoulders.

“Guys, the entire time I’ve spent with all of you has been some of the most fun times of my life. Not only are you great businessmen and run a fantastic company, but you are genuine people also. I don’t know how I got this lucky to meet up with all of you, but I am so damn grateful it happened. I could never dream of ending up in a situation like this where work was fantastic and the people were even more fantastic. I almost can’t believe it’s real, other than I have my arms around two of you for sure,” he said, pulling Clark’s and my head to his. “You guys are the greatest. I think if Bernard ever tried to transfer me out of here, I’d quit before I’d let that happen,” Tex told us, then let us go. I noticed Clark put his hands over his crotch momentarily. Gees this was the second week in a row I brought him out to the grotto and he got a boner. Poor Clark, I thought to myself, wondering how long it would take for the two of them to have sex. Knowing Tex, I almost figured it would happen tonight.

I threw my arm around Tex also as he had his around my shoulder. “Great to have you with us, Tex. We all feel like we’ve known you for some time and are happy you’re here with us now. I can promise you, you won’t regret it,” I told him as he pressed his cheek against mine and then Clark.

“Got a great roomie now too. This one I can relate to and enjoy much more than the ones I just saw coming and going for the most part,” Tex said, giving Clark the same treatment he gave me. Maybe we can take care of that when we get back to the apartment if you’re a mind to. “Guess we have some further acquaintance to get to tonight. Oh well, it was bound to happen sometime so we might as well get to it so we don’t have to fantasize about it. Isn’t that right, Josh?” Tex suggested. I told him it seemed like I’d heard that somewhere before. We all chuckled.

I got a naked hug and kiss from Clark and Tex before they took off for their apartment at the dorm. I told them I’d see them around 9:00 in the morning. They said they’d be there. I collected Rowen and Jake, then told Allen and OBB goodbye, thanking them for the great day as always. They said to be sure and bring Tex back soon. I told them I thought they’d be seeing a lot of him in the future. That seemed to excite them to no end.

Rowen was still concerned about Lucky when we got home. I texted him in front of Rowen and asked him if he was okay. It took a bit to get something back. He just said he was okay but he couldn’t talk now. I read it out loud so Rowen could hear. Rowen was still concerned when he went to bed. I laid there for a few moments with him. He seemed sad. I told him that Lucky would be fine and probably tell him all was well when they got together tomorrow. I suggested that Marvin was probably there and they were still talking or maybe even having sex which is why he couldn’t talk at the moment. Lucky gave a little chuckle at that suggestion. I kissed him goodnight, telling him I’d see his sweet ass in the morning and even Jake and I were worn out after this weekend. He got a kick out of that.

Jake and I just cuddled and fell fast asleep in no time, having had an extremely busy sex life the last couple of nights. We needed the rest and our balls needed to catch up with our cocks. We needed more ammunition and rest would be the best way to get more.

I was a little apprehensive but somewhat psyched Monday morning in anticipation of Bernard showing up. I was debating whether to meet with him one on one or have Logan and Clark with me. I stopped in to see if Cal was in the war room before heading up to my office. He was there and seemed very busy. I asked how things were going since I didn’t see him over the weekend. He apologized for that giving me a hug. He said things were heating up even more. He’d met with Kenny who told him he had a feeling that he thought W&S were maybe getting ready to skip town as the heat from the mob was heating up. Kenny said they seemed to want control and didn’t want to wait until W&S handed it over. For some reason the mob thought W&S were holding out on them. Guido had made some rounds with Kenny over the weekend, which Kenny said wasn’t a good thing and he didn’t get a good feeling about what was going on. A large shipment of drugs was due in on Wednesday and he was concerned something might come down then. Cal told me that the police chief was giving Conner hell for rousting Simon and Spence but Conner was holding his ground. Conner had the arrest warrant reading to arrest the police chief, but he didn’t want to spook anyone until the hammer dropped on everyone. According to Cal, Conner was getting a little sick of the chief’s bitching and harassment and wasn’t sure how much more of this he could take before he threw his ass in jail. Cal said he’d keep me informed asking me if I had a good weekend. I told him it was crazy but much better than what he was dealing with. I got another hug then took off.

Chapter 722 - E

Will, Logan, Clark and Tex were in Logan’s office when I went by, but quickly followed me to my office. I told them I had to see Jordan and Nate for a minute so to grab some coffee and we’d talk in a few. I headed to Jordans’ office. He was smiling when I showed up. “Here is the letter you can give to Bernard telling him he is in breach of contract and due to the breach, we are terminating our relationship with his company. The remedies for expenses are spelled out in the document. I also have a letter going to their CEO and legal department outlining the same breach and remedies. I’m sure this satisfies the termination of the relationship. Our accountants will have to do a little work on this, and they will have to document and prove all expenditures on our behalf. Logan says he has an accounting of that himself as he had to approve all the invoices to date. We should be good other than you telling the asshole he’s fired,” Jordan explained, making me smile. I thanked him for all the work he and Nate did on this over the weekend. “Well, the attention you gave us in the conference room last week helped, but we might have to do that again soon for us having to work on this project over the weekend. Just saying,” he chided. I leaned over his desk and kissed him, making him sigh. “That helps also,” he added with a huge smile. I told him he was too easy, but I loved it. “Only for you, Josh. Only for you,” he replied smiling.

Grabbing the letter outlining the breach of contract I headed back to my conference room to my guys. They were standing around drinking coffee Will had prepared in my little kitchenette. “Gees, Josh, I thought your office was fantastic, but your conference room is fantastic also,” Tex raved. I told him we hadn’t had the occasion to use it all that much yet, but this was going to be a memorable occasion today. “Hey, I got a text from Bernard saying he was on the ground at the regional airport and was headed this way in a rental car. He said he should be here on time,” Tex told me. I told him I was glad to hear it. “This may take some time today as he says he has a lot of things to go over with you. I would assume all of us for that matter,” Tex added.

“Actually, I think most of the work we have to accomplish will be between you, Will, Logan and Clark, Tex. I don’t think Bernard will be too involved,” I told him which he wasn’t too sure what I meant. “You guys are the on the front line. There’s not too much he can do from New Jersey, I told him, trying to ease his mind.

“Oh, he says he’s planning on staying a few days to help out and make sure everything is coming together the way it should. I guess he’s used to startups himself from what he’s told me,” Tex replied, with Logan shaking his head.

“Well, we’ll see,” I replied. Tex seemed sure that was Bernard’s plan. “Oh, Tex, I may say a few things in the meeting that might confuse you some, but I want you to know, as far as you’re concerned, we’re all good. I just have to stick it to Bernard a little if you catch my drift,” I told him. “I just wanted to make sure you weren’t concerned about anything as you’re good,” I told him.

“I get it. You need to show him who’s boss. No problem with me. He needs a little toning down some anyway,” Tex replied. “You can stick it to him. It won’t bother me at all,” he added. I thought to myself, he might get panicky wondering what becomes of him when I throw Bernard out.

Logan took me aside and told me he had all the data copied from the company laptop to his laptop now, and brought the company one to give back to Bernard. I thanked him for letting me know. I asked him if everything was good between him and Will. He told me it was wonderful, and he couldn’t be happier. I told him I was happy for them both. He gave me a hug.

We spent some time again taking up where we left off from Saturday’s meeting on personnel and next steps. Logan said he had two lists prepared for what needed immediate attention and what could be done over time. I told him after our meeting with Bernard, we’d meet again with Taylor, our Director of HR, along with Jordan and Nate to discuss personnel. That seemed to confuse Tex, but he was still trying to catch up and just went along with everything.

I got a call from the front desk, saying that Bernard was in the lobby. I asked Tex if he wanted to go with me to pick up his boss. He said he thought he should. On the way down in the elevator, I told him not to mention who all was in the meeting this morning as I’d introduce him to them when we got up there to the conference room. I said it was important that he not mention anything about the others. That seemed to confuse him, but he said he’d follow my lead.

Bernard was all smiles, just so excited to meet me finally after hearing so many great things about me, he told me as we shook hands. He shook hands with Tex also thanking him again for getting up here so quickly on such short notice. Tex said he was glad he came when he did as we had been such gracious hosts and welcomed him with open arms. Bernard said he’d heard we were great guys to work with. There was some small talk as we went up the elevator. When we walked into the conference room, Bernard stopped dead in his tracks seeing Logan and Clark.

“Wait, what the heck are they doing here?” he asked, his entire demeanor totally changing. “They don’t need to be here as they have nothing to do with our program anymore,” Bernard said rather adamantly.

“Good to see you too, Bernard. As a matter of fact, we do need to be here as we work for Stoney Enterprises now. Josh hired me on Saturday,” Logan told him creating a huge chill in the room. Tex was taken aback, not knowing what to think.

“I can’t work with them, Josh. I fired Logan’s ass for good cause and Clark quit. They might work for you now, but we can’t work with them since we parted company on rather terse terms,” Bernard said rather sharply.

“You don’t have to work with them, Bernard, because we are no longer working with you or your company. Sit down as I have something to give you. Bernard sat down some distance away from Logan and Clark. I handed him the letter. “By firing Logan, you violated the terms or our contract with your company as laid out in this letter. Therefore because of your breach of contract, there is no contract anymore. We no longer have a business relationship with your company,” I explained.

“I didn’t’ violate any terms of the contract, Josh. I can fire and hire whoever I want to for this project,” Bernard came back rather angrily. “I’m sorry if this caught you by surprise, but you can’t terminate the contract because we change managers from time to time,” Bernard shot back.

“The provision you breached is right here, that specifically states that Logan is the guy assigned to us for the duration of the contract unless by mutual agreement he decides to do something else. That was a request we made that he be the managing entity between our two parties. It was written into the contract. You breached that clause by firing him,” I explained in a moderate tone.

“That clause is not in the contract. We never put anything like that in our contracts. That doesn’t exist,” Bernard said shoving the letter back to me.

“I can’t believe you never even read the contract, Bernard. You are really getting sloppy,” Logan shot back at him. “You, the CEO and I signed it together. I can’t believe you never read it,” Logan said, shaking his head.

“Bullshit, Logan. This is your doing, making that shit up. We never put anything in our contracts like that. You’re not going to get away with this. Josh, this isn’t real,” Bernard complained.

“Oh, but it is as we insisted on having Logan as our point man to work with us on this project to bring it up and then manage it for us. That was the only way your company got the contract to manage the dormitory. Sorry, Bernard, but you basically fucked up,” I told him. Bernard turned red and almost shook thinking he might have fucked up.

“I went over this with the CEO who asked me if I was willing to bring the project up and then remain and manage it. I told him I was as it would be nice to settle down and not travel so much. He said if I’d agree to it, then he would also, saying it was nice to have someone think that highly of our representative to ask for them personally. He said I did a great job representing our company, and he applauded my effort. You, sir, just shit the bed. I wonder what the old man will think about you now that you just fucked this all up,” Logan replied. I swear Bernard broke out in a huge sweat.

“Fuck you, Logan. You never should have had this account in the first place. Josh, we need to fix this. We need to fix this right away. Logan can’t help you at this juncture in the project. You need us to get you up and running and then manage this. These two idiots can’t do that for you. I swear it’ll never work. You’re risking all kinds of failure here depending on those two to get this up and running for you. You need us. We need to work this out,” Bernard replied, desperately trying to find someway to turn this around and possibly save his ass.

“I needed Logan and you fired him. For what, we still don’t know. You fired him without cause. What’d he do, steal the company fortune or something? You sure as hell owe him and me an explanation of ‘why’,” I told him in a normal tone. He almost shook in his seat, Tex sweating as well.

Chapter 722 - F

“I don’t have to give him a reason. I have the right to hire and fire who I want to. I don’t have to have a reason to fire him, and anyway it’s none of your business anyway. That’s between him and me,” Bernard protested.

“Well, I can’t do business with anyone that treats their associates that way, firing them for no apparent reason. You’ve made his life miserable for months and now you don’t have the decency to say why you fired him. That’s pretty pathetic, Bernard,” I told him. “I sure as hell don’t want to do business with anyone that treats their associates like that. Maybe It’s better we found out what a shitty company you work for before we took this any further,” I told him. I thought he was going to have a nervous breakdown.

“Bernard, Logan and Clark are fantastic to work with. I’ve been working with them all weekend and, like I said, they are extremely professional and know what the hell they’re doing. I don’t understand why you’d fire them,” Tex interjected. Bernard turned red and looked like he was about to cut Tex’s head off.

“Shut up, Tex. This is none of your business, you dumb hick. This is between Logan and me,” Bernard shot back at Tex.

“He fired me, Tex, because I wouldn’t have sex with him. That pissed him off more than anything. We were good friends once. I was the best man in his wedding and there for him when he had his first child. Then he wanted sex with me, and I told him ‘no’, that was no way for a family man to act and that he needed to clean up his act. Ever since then he’s been trying to fire me. So he finally had the balls to do it. Good riddance,” Logan shot back at Bernard.

“You told me you were single. You weren’t married and didn’t have any kids you knew of when we fucked that night. Shame on you, Bernard. I should have known better than to have trusted you. My bad, guys. It was a weak moment, it seems, a very weak moment it turned out to be,” Tex replied.

“Fuck you, Tex. Where do you think this puts you? If I’m fucked, I’d say you’re fucked also, because you work for me and if our company isn’t here, then you aren’t here either. Good luck with that. Plus, if we’re not here, we sure as shit don’t need you for shit’s sake. Might as well hit the dusty trail and crawl back to that hole that I found you in,” Bernard said rather nastily. Tex didn’t know what to say, realizing the greatest place and people he found to work with finally had all been blown apart. He was somewhat in a state of shock.

“Hey, Tex. Good people always land on their feet,” I told him then winked at him to give him some encouragement. “Well, Bernard, I don’t think there is much left to be said, other than you really know how to blow up relationships. This was a huge one. Stoney Enterprises is lucky to have Logan and Clark on our staff to handle all our hospitality businesses. He’ll be in charge of not only the dorm but the Grand Victorian and the two resorts we have in Key West and I’m sure there will be others along the way. Sorry you missed out on all that business as Logan worked hard to tie all that up with us for your company. But then, you kind of blew that all to hell because of ‘personal reasons’. Good luck in your new ventures, but a word of caution, I wouldn’t use SE as a reference in your future business proposals,” I told him, rather enjoyably. Bernard stood up.

“It just hit me. What are you going to do without employees? Seems to me all the employees Logan hired are still our employees. You’re kind of up shit’s creek without them, so you’re going to need us after all,” Bernard said rather angrily.

“Uh, how long is your CEO going to pay them when you don’t have a contract to work with anyone. We’ll be offering them jobs at a higher rate than what you offered them and with better benefits I do believe. Nice try, Bernard, but we thought this through, unlike you who never read the contract and were ignorant of the management clause. Guess you needed to do some homework instead of trying to fuck bartenders in Texas,” I replied. Tex looked embarrassed. “Sorry, Tex.”

“He was a bad fuck to begin with. He wasn’t anything special for sure,” Bernard replied. I rolled my eyes. “You haven’t heard the last of this. We’ll sue you guys for millions over this. Our legal department will be in touch. Oh, and I want all the company property back that Logan has and you better not be using any of our proprietary systems or data,” Bernard said angrily. We passed down the laptop that Logan had been using. “Oh, and for the record, fuck all of you,” Bernard said, then looked around to see how he got out of here. I told Will he could escort him out of the building. Will told him to follow him. Bernard left in a huff. We all took a deep breath.

“Well that was interesting,” Clark casually mentioned. I chuckled.

“Guys, how fucked am I?” Tex asked sheepishly. I grinned.

“Tex, we want you to manage the dorm and become part of our company. Nothing has changed in that regard. The three of you will meet with our HR Director, Taylor, this afternoon, and he’ll fix you up with salary, bonus structure, and bennies. You’ll be part of the SE team. Isn’t that what you suggested over the weekend to me anyway?” I asked. Tex grabbed me and hugged me tightly, then kissed me quickly on the lips.

“Can I do that to the boss?” he asked thinking he may have overstepped his bounds. Logan told him he thought I enjoyed it. Clark said he was certain of it. “I feel like I just fell into a huge pile of shit, but came out smelling like a rose,” he said excitedly. I told him, ‘welcome’ to our team. “You have no idea how wonderful that sounds and means to me.”

Will finally returned. “Well that wasn’t the most pleasant elevator ride I’ve had in this building. I wasn’t sure if it was safe as pissy as he was. I just hope he doesn’t have an accident driving back to the airport. He told me he had planned to stay for a couple of weeks. He begged me to try to talk you out of going it on your own, Josh. I told him when the boss makes up his mind, we take off and never look back. I told him you thought the world of Logan and there was no reason for anyone to treat him like he did. He said he believed he really fucked up this time. He didn’t know how he was going to tell the CEO,” Will reported.

“Well, while he is on this way back to Jersey, I’m going to call the CEO and tell him what happened. I’m going tell him everything including how he stole my program I had written for startups and told the board it was his. I’m going to tell him everything and he believes in me enough to know I’m telling him the truth. I’d say the boy has a lot of explaining to do when he gets back and tells the CEO how he blew up this account and all the additional projects with this company that were to come. Yep, would love to be a fly on the wall to hear that conversation. If you’ll excuse me, I have a phone call to make in my office,” Logan said, then excused himself. I patted him on the back as he took off, making him smile.

“This business is so much fun,” I told Will who hugged me.

I agree with all my bent bros as usual. Bernard got handed a shit sandwich and made to eat it in front of all the guys. He's got a lot to face once he gets back to headquarters. He's lucky if he doesn't get sued for sexual harassment on a quid-pro-quo basis, especially with Tex admitting the two of them had sex at the Gaylord. Bernard is just a first-class asshole. Tex had the surprise of a lifetime, now getting what he wished for, his own seat at the table in SE's employ.

There is so much more to come. Can't wait for D-Day at Uni when the tanks roll in and purge the city of all the bad guys. That should be memorable. We need to know how Lucky made out with Marvin also. Is there more to the story than Drake and Marvin have fessed up to? Rowen is very concerned, but will Lucky level with him as to what is going on? We haven't found out it Tex and Clark did the dirty the first night Tex spent in Clark's apartment.

Chapter 773 – The Aftermath and Battle Plans

This morning’s meeting had been interesting to say the least. I think we were all glad the nightmare was over and we had started out in a new direction, one of our own, not sharing with anyone. Our success or failure would definitely be ours, but we never believed in failure. I was confident that between all of us we would have one of the most successfully run private dormitories in the country. I had heard rumors that the Uni Housing department was quite concerned at the large drop in new student population for the fall. Kyle had heard that in dealing with some of the administrators at the university when working on the new science building. Some of them told Kyle it was their own fault as they hadn’t kept up with modernizing student housing for many years. We simply had to make all this work.

Logan said the CEO thanked him for his enlightenment and told him they would do everything in their power to assist us in the transition and would help if we needed anything. Logan said the CEO thought sure Bernard was involved with the conversation about the language in the contract stating Logan would be the start up project manager and then manage the facility at the time it was turned over. Logan said the CEO thought it was a novel idea, and had even pitched it to the board who were impressed with it also. He also told Logan he was going to look into the program that Bernard claimed was his, but Logan had supposedly developed, saying there were times Bernard seemed unsure as to how it all worked, and that shouldn’t be the case if he developed it. Logan said he told the CEO as a favor to him personally, if they had questions about the program, he would help them out. Logan said the conversation was very amicable and the CEO said he’d love to have him back if things didn’t work out at SE. Logan said he assured him it was a great opportunity but he’d keep in touch.

“We thought a lot alike. That’s why I didn’t understand why Bernard got the job I should have had. No telling what he told the old man to get the job that should have been mine. Needless to say, I got a better job with you guys and I couldn’t be happier,” Logan replied.

“And, even though it was crazy the way I got hired, I sure as hell am grateful to be here with all of you and having Bernard out of my life. Gees, what a relief. “Okay, guys, we’ve had quite the experience together these last few days. Now we have to put our heads together and make this all work. The war is over. We are victorious, but now we have a lot of work ahead of us,” I told them all.

“We’re on track, just so you know. We were going to use the software my previous company uses for these situations. Some of it we didn’t need such as the reservation system since all rooms are pre-assigned and there is no transient business here. There are others we could use out there, but I happen to believe ours is the best. I’m going to ask Garth if he can duplicate some of this for use for the dorm and change it enough, possibly improve it, so we aren’t stealing technological propperty. I have it all on my laptop. Our CEO even offered to let us use it to get started if we needed to, somewhat embarrassed to tears for what happened with Bernard. We have some time on this, but I’ll get with Garth right away to see if he can put something together for us,” Logan told us. “Clark and Tex, you guys can keep working with the personnel and continue to hire once Taylor puts a program together for the new hires,” Logan stated. “I also worked on the vendor list and a letter going out to all the vendors we will be using changing the bill-to information so all the billing comes to Accounts Payable here and not to my old company like they’ve been doing lately. I have assurance from my old CEO that they will cooperate fully with the transition and not to worry, as they will make it work. That was a huge help as, undoubtedly, there will be vendors that are confused,” Logan stated, briefing us on what he and Will worked on for the weekend.

“Taylor has worked this weekend looking at your pay scales for the personnel we need to hire or have hired so far, Logan. He worked with Ken and Jonas over the weekend to put together a plan for us. Actually, guys, with us doing all of this ourselves, we can pay or employees more and still make a greater profit overall. Third-party is good if you don’t know anything about it yourselves, but if you do, you sure can save all the money they’d make and keep it inhouse. This is going to be a good thing for all of us overall. Without Logan, Clark and Tex, we wouldn’t be able to do this, but now we can, thanks to them,” I commented. We all cheered.

Clark and Tex then headed to the dormitory to catch up on what was going on there. Logan went back to his office to generate the vendor letter to be sent out as an email to all the companies followed up by a mailing. I went and collected Will and Logan for our senior staff meeting luncheon. Nate, Jordan, Ken, Buzz and Taylor followed us over. Logan said he’d almost bet that personnel didn’t know about Tex either, something he was going to take care of later if the dude showed up, which he did. We now felt more confident than ever we made the right decision to hire Logan, Clark and now Tex to manage our hospitality unit.

Taylor told us he had their compensation packages ready and would review them this afternoon with all three of our new associates. I told Logan we would look at stock options for them also once they got everything going. He couldn’t be more pleased. Will was all smiles. I thanked Nate and Jordan for their legal work over the weekend. Their legal opinion, stated in the letter terminating the contract, was spot on. I went back to the dorm after our luncheon meeting. Clark and Tex had just finished their meeting with the personnel already working. Clark said he was putting together a letter explaining the situation to employees he had hired, but hadn’t started yet. Those would go out later today. All in all, it was a very good day. We kicked out our third-party hospitality manager and took that over ourselves, hiring Logan, Clark and Tex. They are now employees and soon to be shareholders of Stoney Enterprises. They are all part of the family now. No more third-parties,” I stated rather proudly.

“You mean Tex is on your team now too, the one with the big dick?” Kyle asked somewhat excited. I smiled. But then I remembered you saying you might say some things that might concern me during the meeting but everything would be fine. Chapter 773 - C

Rowen finally showed up without Lucky. “Where’s your partner?” I asked, somewhat concerned. “Did you two work together today?” I asked. Rowen did not look happy.

“Lucky said he’d better not come or he might drink too much and then get angry. I told him it might help to be among friends. He said I was a help today, but he had a lot to think about and wanted to be alone,” Rowen replied. I asked if Marvin and Lucky broke up. “Not officially, I guess. I’ll tell you about it later. I just need a beer,” Rowen replied. I poured him a beer as he sat down and joined us with a long face. Jake said we should probably give him some space as long as we thought he wouldn’t do anything crazy. Rowen said he didn’t think Lucky would do anything crazy.

Cal came and joined us along with Clay. I had forgotten that the two of them were living together and Cal had Clay driven to and from the TV station. I called them strangers. We had some beers, had something for dinner then after saying goodbye with hugs to the rest of the guys, Jake, Cal, Clay, Rowen and I headed up to the apartment, getting properly attired in our briefs to enjoy another beer and hear what was going on with the investigation.

“Okay, looks like Wednesday it’s all going down. Tonight, AFT is bringing in a large SWAT unit and parking them in a warehouse here out of sight. Conner, Neal, Tomlinson and I are coordinating the moves to be made on all the drug dealing sites on Wednesday morning after we know the large drug shipment has been delivered. We’ll have troops undercover actually laying in the field surrounding the convenience store distribution warehouse. Kenny will signal me when the drugs have been delivered. We’ll have a tail on the guys who delivered the drugs that will follow them back to where they picked up the drugs, even if it’s all the way to Mexico. Kenny will attach a GPS bug to the van when they deliver the product which will help so we’ll have eyes on the van and electronic surveillance also. Wherever they end up, we’ll have FBI or local police involved in taking down their distribution center also. We need to take this as far up the ladder as we can to bust all the assholes involved. Quantico is watching this very closely and has even given us air support. We’ve got a couple of Apache helos arriving at the airport tonight late, Josh. Dale said he’d make sure they were put in the hangar and out of sight. So we have air fire power should we need it. Oh, Kenny spent some time with me yesterday going over all the security in the W&S Construction Co. building along with the warehouse. He said to be careful as there were explosives planted throughout the building in case someone sniffed something wrong. He doubted, with millions of dollars’ worth of drugs being delivered, he didn’t think they’d be crazy enough to blow all that up. He jokingly said the whole town might get high if that happened for as much as they were receiving,” Cal said jokingly, although I think he half believed it.

“Do you have camera crews standing by to cover all of this, Clay?” I asked. He smiled.

“I will. I have several of our camera crew members called in for a meeting early Wednesday morning. One of our station cameramen will be there for the morning show which will be interrupted when Aikens and Shelley are arrested right there at the station. That will happen first, then I’ll grab a cameraman and head to the distribution center but keep my distance until it all goes down. I also have a copter leased for that morning with another sky cam to capture the action at the distribution center. Conner is going to wait until all hell breaks loose before he arrests the Chief of Police and the Mayor. They’ll undoubtedly be together when the shit hits the fan. I’ll try to get back there for that arrest as well. I’ve already recorded video reporting the story of what went on in our town unbeknown to Uni residents. I’ll add all the footage we get from the mornings’ events to all of the pre-recorded footage for the 6:00 and 11:00 news, plus there will be on-site reporting through the day. I can totally trust our director and engineer who hates Aikens, by the way, that we are going to do a ton of reporting throughout the day so to get ready as if it’s a weather emergency or something worse. I didn’t tell him what it was but I did tell him it was Emmy potential material. I swear he got a boner thinking about that. He’s on board and ready to go,” Clay reported. We were all in awe over what was about to happen.

“Oh, and Greyson won’t be making his Wednesday morning trip to Chicago with Hastings and Dickerson. We have FBI officers arresting them at the airport as they will be there before the rest of the action goes down. FBI and Secret Service will take down the C&S Bank on our signal from here. We have everything we need to take down their money laundering operation for this Uni operation and for the rest of the lowlifes they are handling money for all over the country. Someone is going to be pretty pissed with this bank when they find all their money is gone, now the property of the United State’s Treasury. Won’t that be fun,” Cal informed us. I was already excited.

“Is Kenny going to be safe through all of this?” I had to ask.

“He has volunteered to be with W&S in their offices when this comes down. He is going to be armed at the time and his cockring on. We’re going to get another officer in the building through a back door before we storm the building. Chances are Guido will be there also. If he smells a rat he may take down W&S without hesitation. Kenny and the unnamed officer will grab the W&S official journal and run out the back. If someone shoots at them, they will shoot back. The problem is, whoever Conner has to volunteer for that assignment won’t be wearing a vest, as he has to fit in as one of the construction workers. That being said, it’s kind of a dangerous assignment for that officer. Not only that, but it’s rather dangerous for Kenny also. He told us he was about to lose everything anyway, probably having to go to jail, so it might as well be him that steals the journal and bolts for the door. If Weinstein or Seward don’t shoot him, then Guido would definitely try to stop him. It’s not going to be easy for sure,” Cal replied.

“Anyone we know from the police force volunteer for the job so I can worry about them?” I asked, wondering if Lucky might. In his state of mind, according to Rowen, I wasn’t sure he was up to that daring a task although he would want it.

“Don’t know for sure yet. Conner said he had a couple of guys crazy enough to volunteer for the assignment. I told him I’d go with him if he wanted to do it himself. He told me to go fuck myself in no uncertain terms, as he had better men than us to handle that assignment,” Cal replied, making us chuckle.

“Damn, this is finally going to happen. Wow. This is a huge undertaking of epic proportion. Clay, this is one story they won’t stop talking about for years. You know damn well the networks are going to be crawling up your ass offering you jobs right and left after you deliver this story to not only Uni, but the nation as big as this will be,” I told him.

“Don’t worry, Josh. I’m not going anywhere. I’m with SE all the way. I may write a book someday, but I’m not going to play all the network politics they play for the right assignments. That’s not me. I want to do this thing for the community, do it well, and then back out of the limelight. We owe this to the citizens of Uni. We had a mess and we cleaned it up through the help of ordinary citizens and local and federal law enforcement. It was a joint effort on all our behalf to clean up our city. I hope I can truthfully say it was a major undertaking, but one that was sorely needed and done well,” Clay replied, making me very proud of him.

“Well, gents, I have one last night off before we launch this epic war against the bad guys, so I think I need to spend it with a special friend of mine. I will see you sometime in the morning, but then it will be balls to the wall after that until the scumbags are all in custody. So, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll put my shorts back on for a brief time and go have myself a little fun,” Cal said as he got up to hug us all, saying it was nicer to hug in our briefs so our junk could rub against one another. At least he was still joking around after telling us what was about to happen very soon.

“You mind if I spend the night here tonight, Josh, Jake? I’d feel safer than at Cal’s by myself, if you don’t mind,” Clay asked. With Cal gone, we talked a bit about life after the big bust. Clay said he’d be busy for a few weeks as it would still take time to interview those that had dealt with these guys, the mayor’s role in all of this along with the Police Chief. Plus, we would have new town leadership with the mayor and police chief behind bars. Dickerson and Hastings would have to be dealt with. Clay wanted to dig deeper into how these two pillars of the community went wrong. Also, why did Weinstein and Seward do what they did to defraud the community and the state with their bribes to the University President along with Uni city contracts and how did their kids get so deeply into drug distribution. Clay said he had a ton of stories to investigate and report, keeping him busy for weeks to come. I had to believe that was true.
