Chapter 773 - D
“So what’s going to become of Kenny, Clay? You think he’ll get a lighter sentence because of his help in all of this?” I asked him.
“Gees, I hope so, Josh. Although the last time we were together he said he just wanted it all to be over as he was so tired of living a life like he had, one step away from being busted or a couple steps away from being murdered by the mob. He thought jail wouldn’t be so bad if he could at least sleep at night without having to keep one eye open,” Clay replied. That made sense when you thought about it.
“So, if he was to get a short sentence of somewhat, do you think there would be any love interest there between the two of you?” I asked, not sure what to expect. Clay had to stop and think about it.
“Given what we have gone through together, I’ve grown very fond of him for his courage and commitment to bring these guys down. He’s risked his life to end all this craziness. I’ve grown to respect him for his commitment to turn his life around. He wants to be a respected law-abiding citizen like all the rest of us. For that I am proud of him. I guess time will tell if we can have a more meaningful relationship, but I’m open if the opportunity presents itself. We’ll just have to see,” Clay replied. I told him that made sense.
Rowen was listening to us talk, but his mind was elsewhere. “Josh, do you suppose you could text Lucky to see if he’s okay? Maybe tell him I was worried about him and wondered if things had improved?” Rowen asked.
“I guess I can, but you’re as close to him as I am so you could text him yourself,” I offered.
“You better as he loves you, Josh,” Rowen replied to my surprise.
“I love him too as much as I love all my friends, Rowen, but not any more than you do. You and Lucky are partners and are tight. I would think he’d talk to you about anything he’d talk to me about,” I replied. Rowen told me I didn’t understand as I was the one that showed him what male love was all about. Rowen said he couldn’t compete with that. “I don’t think it has anything to do with male love, Rowen. It is friendship and caring for one another. You’re his partner, more or less, and you definitely care about his wellbeing just like he cares about yours. He should be able to talk to you as much as he could talk to me. Gay sex has nothing to do with what’s hurting him,” I explained. Rowen wasn’t so sure.
“I think we’d have better results and get better information if you talked to him and not me. I think he believes because I’m straight, I don’t understand how he feels and how he’s hurting. But I hate it when he’s hurting. He didn’t deserve whatever Marvin did or is going to do. I just don’t know what happened, so I don’t know how to empathize with him,” Rowen explained.
“Maybe if you gave him a blow job, he might tell you everything,” I teased. Rowen didn’t think that was funny.
“Believe me, if I thought that would make him happy and solve all his problems, I’d be more than happy to do that for him, at least the best job I could do, not knowing what to do,” he replied, somewhat surprising me.
“Gees, you care about him that much. Damn, Rowen, I am impressed. Okay, I’ll text him and see if he wants to talk, but my guess is if he didn’t want to talk to you about his problem with Marvin, he’s not going to want to talk to me either,” I replied. Rowen wasn’t so sure.
I texted Lucky asking if he wanted to talk to me about what happened with Marvin. It took a few minutes to get a reply, saying he’d rather not at the moment, but when he felt like he needed to talk to someone, I’d be his first call. I asked him if he was okay to take care of his normal duties or did he need some time off. He texted back he was fine and to tell Rowen not to worry about him as he was fine. I read that to Rowen. Rowen shook his head. “At least he knows you were thinking about him, Rowen, and wanted you to know he’s okay,” I told him. Rowen smiled.
“He’s not okay. That much I know. He hardly said a word the entire time I was with him today. That’s not the Lucky I know or you know, Josh,” Rowen told me in no uncertain terms. I had to agree with him.
“Well, I can’t make him talk to me if he doesn’t want to. I guess we’ll just have to keep asking or wait for him to want to talk. Did he say anything at all about Marvin today?” I asked Rowen.
“He just said he had a lot to think about, more than he cared to. That was all he mentioned,” Rowen replied. I told Rowen we just needed to give him some time. I suggested that when he was ready he’d reach out to either one of us. While Rowen accepted my explanation of Lucky not wanting to talk yet, he was still worried about him. I reassured him that we were all here for Lucky and that I was pretty sure he knew and understood that we all cared about him. Rowen finally accepted the fact that was true and he’d just have to wait until Lucky was ready to share.
Lucky said he was going to bed. I followed him into his bedroom once he pissed and brushed his teeth. I laid beside him with my arm over him. “Josh, you don’t think Lucky would be crazy enough to be the officer that runs into W&S Construction to help Kenny, do you?” Rowen asked. I sighed.
“I would sincerely hope it wouldn’t be him. But then, you never know about Lucky. We all know he’s very courageous so I wouldn’t put it past him to do something like that. Cal said he didn’t know who Connor had in mind, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out,” I replied.
“If I get to ride with him tomorrow, I’m going to ask him if he’s doing it. Should I try to talk him out of it if he tells me it’s him?” Rowen asked. Again I sighed.
“Lucky is crazy enough and committed to do what he thinks he needs to do. You might try, but he’s not one to back down from what he believes ‘in. If he tells you it’s him, just encourage him to be careful as hell and take all the necessary precautions he can,” I replied. Rowen said he’d definitely do that.
“Are you and Jake going to have sex with Clay tonight?” Rowen asked me. I chuckled.
“Why, does it matter?” I asked. He looked a little embarrassed, telling me ‘no’ but he just wondered. “Why, you want to join in?” I teased.
“No, not me. Are you crazy. I just wondered if, you know, you and Jake were going to share some intimacy with Clay. That’s all,” he replied. I told him we’ve been known to do that at times with those we cared about. “That’s cool. I’m sure he appreciates it.” I told Rowen I hoped Clay did, but he seemed like he did anyway. Rowen smiled embarrassingly once more. Rowen grabbed my head, gave me a quick kiss then told me to go have fun. I told him I thought I just might.
Clay, Jake and I jumped in the shower together and had some fun there washing one another. That led to some serious sex back in the bedroom, Clay getting his ass well taken care of. After recovering somewhat from some hot sex and emptying our balls, we just laid there and gently stroked dicks and fondled balls. Clay said being with us this way always made him so happy. Jake and said we enjoyed being with him this way also. He chuckled.
“Never thought of me as being gay, but once I got a taste of it, I was hooked and never looked back. I guess you guys and Kenny have been the only dudes I’ve ever been with. I might have to start looking for someone new if and when Kenny is incarcerated,” Clay told us. “It’s either that, or I’ll have to start sleeping over more often as I don’t want to give up experiences like this one tonight by any means,” he confessed making Jake and I chuckle. We told him we were always here for him if he needed help with being loved. We both got kissed passionately for that, then soon fell asleep afterwards.
Tuesday morning we all piled into the shower together, joined by Rowen, Zach and Brady. Zach and Brady were happy to see Clay again, gently giving his junk a little attention in the process which embarrassed him some by the arousal it gave him. I couldn’t help but notice that Rowen took note of the teasing. I gave Rowen’s asshole a little tease also as I washed his back, making him turn around and smile at me.
I didn’t leave the apartment at the same time as Rowen today, since Clay hung around a little later. Jake, Zach and Brady took off at their normal time so it was just Clay and me at the apartment hanging out for a bit.
“Are you going to be safe through all of this shit that’s happening tomorrow?” I asked, somewhat concerned.
“So what’s going to become of Kenny, Clay? You think he’ll get a lighter sentence because of his help in all of this?” I asked him.
