“Well, you don’t want them too big or you lose the closeness with your clientele. But then a lot of the clientele are tourists the ones that stay here at the PF and the ones that will stay at the PP. Maybe there isn’t much difference in the weekend business than the weeknight business if this is all tourist based. Still, Tyler did say there were longer lines on the weekends. We should probably survey our customers to see where all they come from. Might be extra tourists from Miami and elsewhere on the weekends. I mean it’s easy to get here from Ft. “I have a question for you, Josh,” Buzz spoke up. “Could you be possibly planning on coming down here next week again for anything?” he asked. We could do it from Uni, but it would be much simpler to do it from here as we can run out to the construction areas and do tests on what we produce, otherwise we’re going to have to have Woody and his guys do that and hold them up from the progress they’re making. I’d much rather have my eyes on this stuff than to depend on others to feed us information. Hudson and I can do this, but it’s going to take longer than today and tomorrow to get it finished, if you know what I mean,” Buzz informed me.

“Hey, take as long as you want. If I can’t get back here, I can always send Dale and Cam down to fetch the two of you. You can stay at the suite as long as you need to. There’s a small washer/dryer combination unit in the suite you can use to wash clothes with or buy a couple extra here if you want. Hell, when you get done, stay a couple of days to relax if you want also. No hurry. I appreciate the fact you don’t want to hold Woody up from getting this resort opened,” I replied. Buzz said that would be great. If I couldn’t collect them with Dale and Cam, they could always fly back commercially. I told them we were beyond that now. He was part of us, which made both of them smile.

“Hey, just a word of caution you should know about,” Woody started to say, catching my attention. “You’re little misfit, Mary Ann, told me she’s coming over here this afternoon to see just what this resort is all about. I told my workers not to answer any of her questions just so you know,” Woody warned me. I shook my head, saying at this point, I could care less. Woody just smiled.
 
Well, this chapter (by the way, we are at the chapter number 790, so only ten to the 800th 🥳) was a firework 🎆 Hudson with Clark and Josh multiple times, then Josh and Clark some more times on their own, and Tex with whoever he found on the sling. So it looked like Buzz and Hudson needed to stay a few more days to get some critical things done, engineering wise, for Woody. “Well, I was going to call you tomorrow to discuss that with you and probably still will. There are two King Airs for sale a broker has that is going to deliver them next week for us to take a look at in Key West. There was no sense flying them to the City or even Uni as we need them there. James and I have checked out all the specs, logs and maintenance records and are completely satisfied they will work fine for our venture. The seating configuration is for commuter service which is even better. The airframes are low time and the engine hot sections are mid-time which is great as you don’t get hit for a hot section right away, and you don’t have to pay for new engines if they were just replaced. Everything looks good. I could have them delivered there, we check them out and if we’re satisfied, we wire them the money and their pilots fly home commercially. We don’t have to be concerned transporting them down there. I’ve been in touch with Ken and Jordan already and they just said to call them and they’d take care of the details once we say, ‘go’. So, we could pick you up in the Latitude on the way, then do what we have to do, spend a day or two roasting our dicks out in the island sun then head back with your passengers if that works for you. That way the planes are here. Our FBO has some pilot applications James and I have been reviewing so I guess we could put some clothes on and possibly interview and hire them also. If you want to go back Monday to KW then we could look at the planes and interview the pilots on Tuesday and Wednesday if that works for you, or do you have to be back sooner than that?” Tom explained.
