Chapter 817 - D
We hopped on the Moped. He put his arms around my waist in somewhat of a hug and put his head on my shoulder which sent excitement through my whole body. Then he lifted his head up, saying he just needed to hug me. I told him it felt great and got me a little excited in the process. He told me that made him happy. Off we went soon pulling up to Greer’s office. “Hey, I just remembered that Greer has a new paralegal that he just hired. The dude is cute, but he’s a little campy if you know what I mean. His demeanor changes rapidly. I think he’ll be professional since he hasn’t met you yet, but he tends to get campy with the least little bit of familiarity, so just be prepared,” I warned Greg who thought that was funny.
We walked in the door and Latimer was where he was the first time I met him. He gave us both the once over. “Well, if it isn’t the king of the company come back to inspect his subjects once again,” Lat commented. I smiled at him.
“Lat this is Greg who is the manager of the Fixed Based Operator at the airport. We are gong to be doing a lot of business with them in the future and taking over part of his business, plus hiring him to manage it. I need to talk to Greer about putting together a Letter of Intent defining what we’re doing together,” I told him as Lat shook Greg’s hand then looked at it. “What are you doing?” I asked Lat.
“Just trying to see what his dick size is. You can kind of tell that from looking at his hands. Don’t you know these important things, Josh? Damn, I’m going to have to teach you some of the basics for scoping out a new dude,” Lat replied.
“What if I told you he was straight? Wouldn’t you be a little embarrassed for what you just did?” I asked. Lat just smiled.
“Honey, he’s not straight. Damn, you need to get your gaydar recalibrated. You’re missing all the good points these days. In fact, I think he might just might be harboring some real lust for you, my boss. Better be careful as I sense some intense caring coming between you two whether you know it or not. I sense sex hasn’t happened yet, but it’s not far off seeing you two the way you are,” he chided. Greg and I looked at each other and laughed. Greg told him he must be some kind of gypsy fortune teller. “Hah. What a sexy voice. Damn near gave me a boner. This dude is hot, Josh. Oh yeh, things are really going to happen between you two for sure. You have to call me and tell me about it. Better yet, let me join in,” Lat replied. I shook my head at him.
“Getting back to business and graduating from Monkey business, we need to see Greer,” I told him as he looked at Greg and I then smiled from ear to ear.
“Let me see if his highness, our conference room bottom is available,” Lat said as he got up and went to check on Greer, who was on the phone again from what I could hear. I heard Lat tell him his favorite top was here to see him. Greg and I again looked at one another and shook our heads. I reminded him I warned him about Lat. Greg couldn’t get over him, thinking he was kind of cute and funny.
“Josh!” Greer said as he came out of his office and hugged me then gave me a kiss.
“I keep telling you, Greer, not to kiss the clients. That’s not professional unless you let me kiss them too, just certain ones that I lust after,” Lat interjected. Greer told him to mind his own business. I introduced Greer to Greg, telling Greg this was the attorney that got us started in business helping us put together the first CNB. Greg told him he heard the great story of how we went from the CNB1 to a multi-million dollar company. Greg also told him he was sorry about his loss when Stoney passed.
“Yeh, that was a bite in the ass if there ever was one. But this guy here was his protégé. He loved Josh and knew he could take this company to greatness which he has done that. Stoney could always tell a winner for sure, and he loved Josh. I have to love him too for all he’s done for me and the fact he still cares about me also,” Greer said.
“Yeh, if you want evidence of Josh’s caring for Greer, check out the stain on the conference room wall. There’s conclusive evidence of that,” Lat chimed in, prompting Greer to tell Lat again to mind his own business.
“So, we need to put together a Letter of Intent, LOI, for the purchase of certain assets and business of the current FBO, and spell out what we want to do about leasing the buildings plus a buyout if the owner was to sell them or passes away,” I told Greer.
“Damn, Josh, you’re going to put me to work. I liked it when I just had simple real estate transactions. Now, you want me to do the heavy stuff again. Okay then, let me grab a legal pad and let’s get to work. You guys want any water, coffee or anything?” Greer asked. We told him we were fine.
“Should I bring my legal pad with me?” Lat asked Greer, somewhat inviting himself to the meeting. Greer told Lat he thought he could handle this on his own. “Well hell, Greer, you’re no fun. You get to look at these two hotties and I have to sit out here and play with my dick all by myself,” Lat replied. Greer rolled his eyes and shook his head, telling Lat he could attend but to keep his mouth shut. “If my dick gets hard, is that a problem as long as I don’t say anything?” Lat teased. Greer told him he was impossible. The four of us piled into the conference room. “And here’s the evidence that some fun was had in this room at one time between Greer and Josh, just so you know I wasn’t lying,” Lat said, pointing out the cum stain on the wall. I had to chuckle, telling Greer I knew that was going to bite him in the ass someday. Greg thought it was funny.
We spent the next couple of hours getting all the detailed information necessary to draft the LOI, the legal corporate name of the business we were buying, the Federal ID number of the corporations, determining what was in Morty’s business name and what assets he owned personally. Greg said he thought Morty’s car was in the business name, but he would most likely want to keep that as it was his pride and joy. Greer made a note to ask about the car. The planes were to be purchased by SE Aviation division. The maintenance equipment and tools were to be purchased by us also. Greer said he would stipulate that we have the business appraised by independent appraisers and agree on a mutually agreeable price for the business and equipment. He also noted that we would specify we would have a separate lease for the buildings and would need the legal description of the buildings. Greer said he would look up the lease from the Airport Authority to Morty’s business also so he could incorporate that. Greer told me we would have to see if that lease was assumable or if we had to have another lease directly with the Airport Authority. Lat actually said he’d research that. Greer thanked him for doing so. Greg gave him the contact information of the accounting firm Morty used. Greer was familiar with the firm, saying they were one of the better ones here in Key West. He said knew a couple of the principles there so he thought that would be a good working relationship to get started on the valuation process. Greer said he thought he had enough to get started and would get right on it.
“Oh, one other thing that might need to be included in the LOI is that SE will extend an offer of salary, profit sharing and stock options to Greg to manage the FBO business here for SE. I think Morty and Greg need to see that in writing just so we make our intentions known,” I added to what we had already. Greer said that made sense also. He asked if there was anything else I could think of. “I would like to take you out to meet Morty so he knows who he’s working with through the evaluation process if you don’t mind,” I told Greer. Greer asked about tomorrow morning. “That work for you, Greg?” I asked. Greg said that would be great as he was almost sure that Morty had gone for the day now as it was Wednesday and he usually went for an allergy shot on Wednesday afternoons. “What time would be a good time to meet with Morty in the morning, Greg?” I asked. Greg said he thought anytime after 9:00 would be good. “I’ll pick you up at 9:00, Greer, and we’ll head out there for you to meet Morty. When do you think you can have the letter of intent drafted?” I asked. Greer said he’d have a rough draft by tomorrow morning for the intent, but nothing more than the intent ,which would get the ball rolling if we both signed it agreeing to the intent in principle. He said once we reviewed it with Morty, we’d put the formal LOI together which I could sign before I left to go back to Uni, which I reminded him was Friday. Greer said once he met with Morty he could finish the draft and we both could sign it on Friday before I left. “Sounds like a plan then. You good with that, Greg?” I asked.
“I’m good with everything right now. It all sounds great to me. I couldn’t be happier,” Greg replied. We stood up and Greg shook hands with Greer who unofficially welcomed him to the SE family, telling him he was going to love the whole family. “I’m very much looking forward to this, Greer. I really think it’s going to be a great opportunity for both of us.” Greer said if he had any questions to feel free to contact him at anytime, and he’d be willing to answer his questions or concerns. “Thank you for your helpfulness. I guess we’ll be seeing a lot of each other in the coming days and weeks as we work through all this. It’s nice to know Josh has great people to work with. I’m starting to feel like I’ve known you guys for some time,” Greg told Greer.
“Come by more often and you’ll really get to know us a lot more in depth,” Lat offered, making Greg chuckle.
We hopped on the Moped. He put his arms around my waist in somewhat of a hug and put his head on my shoulder which sent excitement through my whole body.
