hello, we're talking about a porn star! while i totally disagree with 'haydendudee', porn stars are on some level pieces of meat! the fact that a porn star might be able to solve multivariable integrals in his head (don't laugh, i've met one who probably can!) is immaterial in this context: in his role as porn star, his body is his principal commodity -- and he knows it.

I'm sure the motivation to do 'amateur' gay porn is multifactorial, and in post-NAFTA middle America, economics may be the most important one. A generation ago, guys like 'Dawson' would have gone straight from high school to a high wage union job at the local John Deere of Motorola factory: skilled labor, dignified work. In the intervening years, those jobs have 'gone south'.
