Former Nashville Council Member Tony Tenpenny, who shared social media posts questioning the coronavirus pandemic and the government’s response, has died of complications from the virus.

An interesting election just got more interesting, and embattled Maine Republican senator Susan Collins just got veto power over the nominee.

Was that premature? Without critical mass, her no vote won't stop the nomination. So far, only she and Murkowski have stood up. Romney's very conservative state would likely recall him if he missed the chance to enshrine a conservative majority in the Court.

A wonderful actor; what a loss. He was fantastic as the lugubrious yet wily Lebel in Day of The Jackal; and in the curious, atmospheric yet flawed, The Name of The Rose; in which his portrayal as the Abbot of the ill-fated monastery was a kind of great, dark, brooding mass of softly-spoken, seething serenity.
