Doherty was also in Charmed.

Not that Charmed could hold a candle to Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

This is just not fair! My childhood is dying one celebrity at a time!

Also, another breast cancer victim.

Was looking for that "Everybody Hates Shannon!" video from the Nineties. Not sure if this is appropriate for this thread, but Doherty did use to have quite a reputation.

Notably, she survived breast cancer in 2015 and metastasis in 2017 and a recurrence in 2020. And she was feisty until the very end. Requiem aeternam dona eis.

My bad. It was Charmed and not Gilmore Girls that I was thinking about.

Actor James Sikking, age 90. Sikking, a long-time character actor with a resume dating back to 1955, was a regular on television shows like "Hill Street Blues" and "Doggie Howzer" in the 1980s and 1990s.

James B Sikking, known for his notable leading roles on Hill Street Blues and Doogie Howser, M.D., has died at the age of 90. The actor’s death was caused by complications related to dementia, according to his publicist Cynthia Snyder (via Variety). He died at home in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 13.

Sikking’s career began in the mid-1950s, when he made his acting debut as an uncredited union sergeant in the film Five Guns West. Over the next three decades, the actor would take on roles on popular series such as General Hospital, M*A*S*H, Hawaii Five-O, Little House on the Prairie, Bonanza, and more before landing the role of Lieutenant Howard Hunter on Hill Street Blues.

^ was so jealous of Doogie Howser, back when it was belatedly shown on European cable in the nineties. Don't remember anything about the show apart from Doogie getting home earlier and catching his parents or one parent and their lover in bed which was very embarrassing.

Sikking was in a few motion pictures I remember fondly, such as Outland (1981), but didn't have big parts in those.

Early Sunday night in the mid 1980s memories...

I only remember Doogie's ass-shake and blondness in the credits... also from the early 1990s, mainstream private channel in Spain.
