Smith understood the importance of evolving. Once the bloom was well off the rose, she embraced the deeper, darker characters age enbles. She knew how to play on how she appeared.

We are truly blessed to have witnessed her great skill. I am saddened to hear of her death. Her role as Brodie was my first sight of her, and I have enjoyed her in everything since.
