^ Are her books about trollops?

I think you're confusing her with Jilly Cooper! I've never read any of Joanna Trollope's books. She was, however, related to the Victorian novelist Anthony Trollope, so it might be reasonable to expect something at least half decent.

Did you ever read Jackie Collins?

Knew about the Trollope name, but never read any.

This is sad news. 😢

I love Raul's voice; The Mavericks are a great band with so many excellent songs.

From a different branch of the family...I love that her books were called Aga Sagas.

Had all The Maverick's CD's in my older collection. Didn't hear about his death :(

I loved blasting Dance the Night Away.

^ It never entered my head that he was actually gay, I always thought it was just theatrical camp. His wife already knew before they married. From Wikipedia:

There's a link to this very interesting piece giving an insight into the dark reality of a showbiz "lavender" marriage: https://www.heraldscotland.com/news...er-actors-secret-gay-life---woman-paid-price/
It is very sad to realise that, even now, there are still people who have to cover up their sexuality

Carl Carlton, singer, at 72.

Rob Reiner, director and actor, 78. Details are unclear.
He was found stabbed to death and hearing that, I keep picturing that one episode of South Park where Cartman actually stabs and kills him and it’s very uncomfortable to think about.
