What? Me? Really?
As much as I'd like a more logical ban, I understand the website's liability and risk, so accept the total ban and support it through reporting violations, although yours was deleted before I saw the post.Like I stated, I do understand; and, I think that the isssue has gotten so far off into the weeds that anyone can report an "underage" image simply because it shows up on a porn site; even if it has nothing to do with nudity, sexuality or porn](/images/smilies/bang.gif "Brick wall ](*,)")
I will say what looks innocent to us, may well not be to a pedophile, and I'm sure they trawl this site and others. My former roommate from college, whom I still keep in touch with, moved out to room with another mutual friend. I was fine with having a room to myself in the dorm, and later spent more time with his roommate than he did.
Years later we learned his new roommate was a pedophile. I was shocked, as I had been in his home and eaten with his parents and never suspected it nor saw any indication. He's on the national registry to this very day. I tried to talk to him a couple of times over the years since then, but he just didn't seem able to remain friends. I'm not sure the exact reason. I don't have any tolerance for child abuse, but also realize that any man trying to live fighting it needs supportive friends, and I was trying to be that. I'm still saddened to know he has that in his psyche, and that it hurt at least one young child.
And, as I said, I have no idea what kind of kid pic would trigger him or men like him. Never asked that of anyone, and not sure I could deal with the knowledge.
