When Iran had Hamas and Hezbollah on either side of Israel they were scary, now that that threat is mostly gone Iran ain’t that scary anymore. They do not have the ability to project power and unless they are suicidal having a nuke would change nothing.

Will be interesting though to see what form their retribution will take.

For decades, Iran has been the troublemaker in the background in the Middle East. It is a useful ally for rrrZZia against the western powers and to keep things stirred up in the region.

Without Syria and their henchmen in Hamas and Hezbollah, Iran's power has decreased greatly.

But never lose sight of the nihilism of the mullahs in the sectarian war of Sunni v. Shia Islam.

And in particular when they break out the nukes (the ones they already secretly built, and have have stashed safely away from their "nuclear facilities"), which city in Israel will be the first to go bye-bye?
Will they go for the capital? Or maybe something closer to a border & possibly easier to 'hit'??

They would be wise to hit Jerusalem to get the US embassy in the process.

And now Israel has attacked Iran.

It is almost like clockwork that Israel, with the US behind it, attacks Iran's nuclear facilities every decade or so to degrade Iran's capability to produce atomic weapons.

For the West to constantly howl about Iran conducting war through proxies, the US is just as guiltty of it.

No one in the ADL gives a shit about Palestinian Children and other civilians.

There is a persistent campaign to equate the kidnapping of Israelis with the deaths of tens of thousands and the literal destruction of the entire Gaza strip.

Most won't even ask or care what drove the terrorist in Boulder.

The United States and the world has so utterly turned their backs on Gaza that they don't even pay attention to what is happening there...the interest is all focused on stopping pro-Palestinian protests, equating everything with anti-semitism and doing nothing at the diplomatic level to stop the genocide.

We've seen all this before.

It sickens me that I am alive to see it all now.

It's far worse than turning our backs. US policy is explicitly supporting Israel, with war crimes proven.

We're part of the axis of evil now.

Yeah they've certainly been weakened with Hamas & Hezbollah beaten down(but not out). And I agree a single nuke wouldn't do much for them, it'd be more if they've managed to build multiple and somehow managed to smuggle them in.
Obviously as you say they'd be suicidal(for their entire country)... but whats the term they use over there? Martyring themselves or something like that? if they managed to take down Israel in the process.
Don't put anything past Iran, but lets just hope no nukes exist.
