I was at Frys Electronics today and looked at Mac Laptops. None of them look nice. Oh and my Toshiba is made very well and is very light. So give me a break.
Yes I play some top games, and yes I want an open system. And yes upgradeability is very important. And that makes Apple the worst choice of them all. My desktop isn't made by any company. I bought all the components myself.
In essence, I need something more instead of something that looks like a toy and has few useful programs.
What put you off of the MacBook line? Was is the smooth, sleek aluminum unibody construction? I don't know what it could possibly be. I've never seen anyone look at an MacBook and say that it didn't look nice. To be it has an elegance that can't be replicated by anyone else. I mean, there is a reason why Macs are in design museums.
