Yours, others or both?

Lex

Both, before I thought when I got a cut or something it was just me being anxious over being injured. My boyfriends recent surgery incision started bleeding a little and every time I help dress it I've began to felt nauseous or dizzy.

How strange life can be...

Two weeks ago was one of the worst time of my life, with threats of losing my apartment and being out of ressources being jobless beyond state allocations period. Very dark thoughts and hard anguishes.

And now, two weeks later, I can keep my apartment and most importantly I just got a good job as project manager in a software company.

I haven't yet realized how lucky I am righ now.

Many thanks for those of you who send messages during the hard time, much appreciated ! :)

If only I could say "fuck off" to people here and not get in trouble. I'm so disappointed in some of the "friends" I've made here being complete and utter dickheads. Btw my impression of a member I talked to on the phone is that he's just as annoying on the phone as he is on JUB.

Off until this bullshit blows over. Byeeeeee

Oakpope,
Congratulations - that's great to hear.

A definition a boss once gave me - a True Friend is someone who'll tell you when you're stepping on your dick.
You may not want to hear it, but you absolutely NEED to hear it.

The thirst on grindr is real. Very real. smh.

Im sad Im stuck at cheap motel now :(

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So I finally moved out to the new house I purchased (for rent) but the previous resident can't move before the end of the month, so I kicked frm my apt around 25th that makes me homeless for 5 days :(
i can stay at my parents house but they live faraway from my office. have no choice -_-
I can rent a hooker to ward the boredom but why I rent a hooker when my first choice is staying at cheap motel? That doesn't make sense ..
so JUB is the nicest way to kill the boredom :) in 5 days before I work like crazy moving out my stuff from public storage to the new house. (on the Oct 1st)
Where are strong and handsome moving men when I need them around? :cry:
I don't get my straight married friends on facebook. They feel like they need to constantly upload photos of their babies and kids on facebook for the whole world to see and get as many "likes" as possible.
It's so annoying.
It's like everytime I log into my facebook account, I see this same person again uploading another photos of her baby for like the umpteenth time just to show off to everybody else.
Seriously, I don't need to keep seeing photos of your baby sleeping, eating, walking around, taking her first steps, video of you reading a book to her, video of your baby blowing candles on his birthday cake, video of your baby boy riding his toy car......
Does it gets to you too?
Seriously, does these people have anything to post about besides their kids?
Is having children the definition of " Happiness"?
Because I'm single and I don't see myself having kids in the future.
Seriously, these straight married people, I don't understand why they think that they have to document every single details of their kids's life for the whole world to see. It's not like everybody cares, you know.
Having a child - especially the first child - tends to shift a person's priorities more than perhaps any other single thing. Your life literally begins revolving around this creature 24/7. Everything else falls by the wayside, or at least gets scaled way way hack. Meanwhile, Facebook continues to be what it was before - a reflection on what's going on in people's lives. Ergo, new parents find their page shifting from pictures of new nightspots or get-togethers to...pictures of their baby. Because, in many ways, that's what their lives ARE for a good chink of time.
Annoying? A bit. I had one friend who posted "happy two-month birthday to this cutie!" and whatnot. And of course, there's only one "correct" way to respond to these posts - agreement that the baby is in fact darling, cute, etc. i used to respond with "awwwww". They thought it meant "awwwwww, what a cute baby", not "awwww, what a shame you're holed up in your place with that thing 24/7." I didn't correct them. :)
Pretty much my only real reason id be annoyed by it. That expectancy from them that id be saying the baby is adorable, etc.
I had a friends wife who had unfriended me but any time she uploaded photos of her kids she tag her husband (as if she had to since she lives with him). So id be seeing the pictures of the kids anyway, lol.
