Once again, the Air Force survival training people are leaving me with at least twenty hours of work fixing what they tore apart.

I'd like to talk to their commanding officer. If they're really training for survival, they ought to practice not tearing down things other people have made -- if they go down in a hostile country, vandalizing things belonging to the residents is a good way to let people know you're there, and increases the likelihood of getting captured.

I was about ten minutes from leaving home to go to the recording when I found out they had cancelled the podcast for this week. I only found out because they tweeted that information - none of those involved felt it necessary to let me know via phone call, text or e-mail. Thanks guys. :)

I don't think you're being oversensitive at all. Not everyone wants to hear about their sisters and brother-in-laws having sex. Congratulations on being an uncle though! I found out my sister was pregnant earlier this year and she is due in a couple months. I'm definitely very excited and I'm happy for them. I still don't completely like my bro-in-law (details in my blog if anyone is wondering) but he is part of family now so I'll just smile and be happy for them.

I was searching for an article online where I was mentioned. And in this Google search, I found a blog. This woman wrote an entire entry back in 2008 on how she was a big fan of my work. I didn't know anybody COULD be a "big fan of my work", but hey. I responded to the dusty blog entry, thanking her. Then I noticed the blog page hadn't been updated in several years. So, on a whim, I decided to do a Google search to see if maybe she had a Facebook profile or something where I could thank her somewhat more directly.

I found her. She committed suicide in 2011.

No, there isn't much of a life for me now, nor has there ever been. People have taken my rights away and killed my ability to learn. They've labeled me a stupid racist and a bigot and don't care if I get set on fire and burn to death.
