my father needs a lesson in humility. he likes to carry both sides of the conversation.he is also a business owner so he is obviously always right. whenever my family tries to talk to him we get talked down to
i told him that i wont have conversations with him if he carries both sides in a joking manner. he got pissed and told me that he simply wont talk to me anymore
my mother reminded me that when i was younger i always told him to stop talking to us like we are his employees. he is old school thinking that in the house he is the master, he is simply a dick in my opinion

Yeah, my Dad can be a lot like that as well.

He's always right and likes to tell people that their feelings arent real.

My dad was always exactly like that, too. He mellowed out a lot later, even though I didn't think he'd ever change at all. Give it some time. Middle aged dads near the peak of their careers are the most inflexible imo. They chill out as they get older.

I had a job interview today. I just got a call from my company....I got the job ! That was really fast. Im very grateful and nervous.

You never know what you're going to get in the behavorial health field. The last teacher that I worked for, hated me from day one. I hope that Im not in that type of situation again. It was highly stressful.

Anyway....here is to past bad bosses and new beginnings ..|

Congrats MissAnne! Good luck. I think the chances of having two horrible-to-work-with teachers in a row is probably very unlikely. ;)

Maybe she was harder on you because she had more faith in you, wanted to see what you were made of, and if you could take it. I've had bosses like this whom would push you just to see how much you could take, wanting to know where your breaking point was and if you were a "YES" man, or had the balls to stand up for youself.

Behavior health field, and you don't use that psycho-babble on your mom in retaliation ??????? wtf girl.

LOL, no I think that she just hated me and she seemed jealous at some points. It was weird. She was really good at making people feel inadequate. I just think that she's a bully. She had done it to several people in the past. Im shy, so I guess that I was the perfect target.

But anyway, past is past.
