Less than 2 weeks to Halloween and my store is already getting rid of Halloween displays, lol. Retail is so stupid.

I couldn't believe that Canadian Tire is half Halloween (since August) and half Christmas.....it is just exhausting and makes me loathe all these holidays more and more.

I am not sure if I am remembering right but it seems like all the stores have Christmas a lot earlier this year. It has been up close to a month in a lot of stores....kinda annoying...

BUT...I have to redo my store's front windows TODAY....and I am grudgingly gonna do some Halloween because I can fill a window with the bizarre stuff I have collected over the years....and I at least want to get some of the cool Don Post masks and my zombie mannequins....but I was thinking of sticking a few Christmas things in to get a head start...it is gonna be all Christmas just before Thanksgiving and it takes a couple days to do the window so since everyone has their Christmas up already...maybe I can sneak it in LOL

At least they're getting some rain... and not pouring what little water they have left onto the ground so they can have green lawns in places that don't naturally have green grass, while at the same time preaching that other people need to conserve water.

In the drought.most all of the lawns were dead....brown...except for the rich people who think it didn't apply to them....

...and they weren't the ones preaching....

California grows alot of the food the entire country eats....and we conserved enough for them to get the crops out...

Of course most news sources won't touch the story. The only sites that carry stories like this also tend to have crazy right-wing bullshit like "Obama is a gun-grabbing communist" and "Hillary is the anti-Christ." so when legitimate issues like this are raised on a site like that, no one takes it seriously, or they think it's a huge exaggeration.

Rape in indoor pool: Judgment repealed

The rape process against a refugee from Iraq, which was due to end on a 10-year-old boy at Theresienbad in Vienna-Meidling on 2 December 2015, must be repeated.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court (OGH) lifted the first-instance verdict - six years of imprisonment - and ordered a re-execution of the proceedings to this extent. The decisive factor for this was a lack of recognition, as President Thomas Philipp presented.
