That was the crux of the question being asked.
Your meandering defense of her as a vacuous prostitute still doesn't address the simple fact that this woman is only 'style' and no substance...and she wouldn't even have been a successful fame whore if her own mother hadn't ruthlessly pimped her whole family out for years now.

Look, you might as well assume that a person who works a day job as an accountant goes home in the evening and reads about pie charts and takes vacations to see museums of accounting or something. The Kardashians are workers who use their image for gainful employment, and for them to do otherwise makes little economic sense.
Name recognition is food on the table for this family. They may be more successful than others who trade on their notoriety, but the fact that they do so does not in itself prove they lack any redeeming qualities. Casting such harsh judgment on people you don't really know really just indicates grievous vacuousness on your own part.
As far as their product, they are giving the public what they are willing to pay for, which is a family that is "edgy of yesteryear." It makes people who are really too retiring and conservative to deeply question the values of their culture feel like they can have the FEELING that they are sort of edgy and progressive, and whether you like it or not, that is most people in the country. Real cultural heroes are terribly rare and really always will be. You will not change that by condemning people for having the aspiration to try.
But KK is a "plastic clothes hanger" precisely because that is her day job, and if she is pumping her tuckus full of silicone, she is doing only that, her job. You have to do degrading things to make it in your job, too. We all do.
