the last film you watched thread

The Wolf of Wall Street

Even though it was really good, it was rather long, 3 hours of movie is a bit too much.

A bad reason for a good soundtrack. The Black Belly of the Tarantula (1971).

Ennio Morricone provides the music to an otherwise boring giallo.

I'm on a Disney kick lately...

I have just finished Being Julia (Annette Benning, Jeremy Irons). It's been a while since I didn't see such an intense and intricate yet unconventional love story so well interpreted! Anyone else has watched it?

1)Flight, good movie until the typical AA ending. Could have been more, daring, and not so preachy at closing.
2)Chernobyl diaries , not another fucking horror movie with camera bounce and all in night. I knew it was over once the dome light went out in the stalled van.
3) Blood Sucking Freaks. I still love watching this over and over when they strap down the girl in the dentist chair and drill a hole in her skull then pull her teeth out and shove their cocks in her mouth so she won't bite. Its a bit gross though when they soup her brains with the screwdriver, she should have learned how to give head better.

"Mr. Belvedere Goes to College" Shirley Temple as an adult still seems like Shirley Temple, but less fun.

Winter's Tale. It was a bit of a strange movie. I didn't care for the Russell Crowe character. I enjoyed watching Colin Farrell in the movie. Nice eye candy.LOL

Oblivion. I was surprised at how good this movie was. The story was well written, literate and interesting. I'm not a big Tom Cruise fan but I have to say he was very good in this film and even downright hot. That's something I haven't thought since Top Gun.

Too long by as much as an hour.

Nonetheless, one of the most complex, fucked up and insightful films I've seen.

The Act of Killing (2012).

A Hong Kong boxer is embroiled in a gloppy battle with black magicians. The Boxer's Omen (1983).

Some nifty visuals, lots of guts, and a great regurgitated-fruit eating scene.

NIGHT OF THE IGUANA -- I had assumed Ava Gardner was always hired for her looks, but here she really put a lot into her role.

If Troma produced LVT...

Hobo with a Shotgun (2011).

I enjoyed.
