the last film you watched thread

The Rocky Horror experience (rather than the movie) in a theater that still shows it at midnight is a whole different thing than simply watching the movie at home.

I´ve read about the whole thing, I assume the with a live cast and an audience it must be different, but the movie itself (or by itself) is pretty dull, even as a parody of early b-movies.

Also saw Devil (2010) today. Don´t even bother with that..

I saw last night "Beyond The Lights." It was a good movie. Nate Parker who plays the cop in the movie is very hot! Minnie Driver plays the role of stage mother in the movie very well. Danny Glover plays Nate Parker's father. As a great actor, I feel he was under used in the movie.

Horrible Bosses 2. Was super disappointed. First one was so much better
I have not seen this movie. I only saw the movie trailers in theatres and it did not look that funny.
Sequels are usually a let down. I rarely like sequels. They never live up to the original movie. They usually just want to cash in on the money and success of the first movie.

Curiosity of Chance: That kid from American Pie is in this... quite cute as is Brett Chukerman. :)

Exodus: Kings and Gods. Save your money and go see something else. It was filled with mistakes, really stupid (production) mistakes, too long and boring even if you know the story, bad acting, most actors looked bored while filming it, Sigourney Weaver has like 3 lines and is on screen for about 30 seconds, having a role that could have easily be erased, ¨Egypt¨ was too much mountains, too little sand, no cats, a pretty poor town for a god etc etc, basically everything was against what egypt is in history books, the make up was bad.. Also, the effects are pretty fucking lame. It´s 2014, how can you come up with such crappy shots?

Also saw today Lars and the Real Girl. I loved it! The boyfriend didn´t

Last Saturday night I saw, "The Homesman." It stars Hilary Swank, Meryl Streep, and Tommy Lee Jones, who also directed the movie. It's based on a Novel. Good movie but sad ending.

Has anyone else seen this movie yet?

on theatre, "the maze runner" - really great film, it's dark though and the flow ofstory is quite different from the book, but i enjoyed it.. can't wait for the sequel :)

online, "shame" - it stars michael fassbender, one of my celebrity crushes. a lot of sex scenes, that's because he's playing a sex addict. it's a great movie beyond sex though, watch it :)

Nymphomaniac

I've read mostly terrible reviews of this. But I found it pretty interesting and compelling, often funny. The cast is great. Uma Thurman is fantastic in her one scene. Even LaBeef is tolerable.
Not the best of Von Trier's work, but far from the worst.

Most of the negative stuff seems to come from part 2 and the ending. People dont think the ending makes so much sense when it actually does.

Upstream Color, really liked it but seemed to be way too hipster for me
