the last film you watched thread

I watched that on cable last night, too. Seen it many times. But it took me this long to realize how stupid the characters are. Older and wiser now, I suppose.

They definitely are, but I still find it to be a good movie. I like the explanation as to why Melanie went up to check the room at the end of the movie though, lol.

Manhunter (1986)

First time seeing it. Good film, dug the score. Brian Cox plays an excellent Lecter, wish he actually reprised his role in later films even though Anthony Hopkins does a excellent job.

I do want to see Red Dragon again. Havent seen it in years but Id like to compare the 2.

The Fly, 1986. Saw it years ago and I wanted to see it again these days, with all the deleted scenes. Good effects for its time, but a very simple script.

We Need to Talk About Kevin - stopped after 30 minutes or so, very boring.

Party Monster - I wanted to stop this one too, but I just couldn´t, that´s how bad it is.

The Birds (1963)

My theory is that Mitch was gay. That's why he left a string of unsatisfied women. Doesn't explain why his sister was like 30 years younger than him. It would've been better had Bob Newhart played Annie's wife.

Party Monster - yes, I agree. A total train wreck. Seth Green was brilliant, somehow. Also in The Attic Expeditions

Last Saturday night I saw "Theory of Everything" starring Eddie Redmayne. Oscar worthy performance as Stephen Hawking. This is definitely a must see movie!

3rd post in a row? Okay.. The Rocky Horror Picture Show, finally. It was pretty ¨meh¨, I enjoyed it but I don´t understand all the hype that it still creates after almost 30 years.

The Rocky Horror experience (rather than the movie) in a theater that still shows it at midnight is a whole different thing than simply watching the movie at home.
