Back To The Future

Moon -9/10 - Great sci-fi movie. Sam Rockwell does an awesome job. Interesting story that is carried well with his performances.

The Babysitter - 6/10 - Could have been a lot better, has a rough start but better second half. Comedy/Horror

Ravenous/Les affamés - 7/10 - Really good tension and characters. Enjoyed it but the overall arc of the movie is mostly something people who have watched zombies movies saw before.

Aftershock - 2/10 - There is pretty much nothing redeemable about this movie outside of the attempt of making a disaster horror movie. Mostly stars Eli Roth which is not a good performance, takes 35 minutes for anything to happen while the movie attempts to build characters that are not interesting.

Gerald’s Game - 7/10 - Pretty solid, certain parts seemed to beat you over the head with what it was trying to say which for me slowed down the movie a little, other than that enjoyed it. One of the scenes is one of the more grosser things I’ve seen in horror, wasn’t expecting it.

Europa Report - 8/10 - Movie might not be for every one but it kept my attention easily the whole time. Sci-fi movie about a crew looking for life on Jupiter’s moon and things go wrong. Solid Performances and though it does the “handheld camera” style of filming it feels natural in this film.

Black Panther - 9/10 - Solid all around, all characters had really good depth and had the humor that Marvel usually has, but it still feels natural with the characters. The motives of the villain were something that was well told and easily has audience members having sympathy for him to a point. Action scenes had you right in there with the actors, especially to hand to hand fighting. Very gorgeous movie as well. I could go on but want to keep it short.

Last night I saw "Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool" starring Annette Benning and Jamie Bell.

This was a great movie! It is based on a true story about Oscar winning actress Gloria Grahame. She was an actress from the 1940's-1970's. She was a stage actress as well as a movie actress.

Annette Benning did an excellent job in portraying Gloria Grahame and Jamie Bell was excellent as her much younger boyfriend.

This afternoon I saw " A Fantastic Woman" the movie is about a transgender woman who works as a waitress and a nightclub singer.

The movie won the Oscar for best foreign film.

The movie was an interesting movie, but it was a very sad story,

I've been on a blu-ray purchasing streak recently, replacing DVDs with blu-rays. so, naturally, i have to watch all of them to check out the quality.

Mrs. Doubtfire - i forgot what a good movie this is. i hadn't seen it in a while. of course, robin williams owns it.

Die Hard - a classic, of course. total guy movie.

Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2. 2 is still pretty bad in comparison to 1.

Annihilation - Excellent film, quite a departure from the book but that isn't bad by any means.

Thor: Raganok. Very good film with some good tongue-in-cheek humor.

Justice League. I liked it a lot and a lot more when Superman/Clark appears.

and after reading Call Me By Your Name, I watched the film again. Damn. It got in my head. What a really beautiful thing.
