the last film you watched thread

I saw "Love, Simon" last night and I was disappointed. I thought the movie was dull and boring. I expected it to be much better than it was, what a letdown! I liked the ending and how he finally found out who Blue was. The ending was probably the best part of the movie.

The Ornithologist

While on a bird surveying trip, an ornithologist's boat capsizes and he is rescued by two female Chinese pilgrims, who force him into extreme behavior to survive a series of brutal tests.

I chose to watch this because it was in the LGBT section of Netflix. It was a very strange movie. If the main character, played by French actor Paul Hamy, hadn't been so good lookin', I would have stopped watching about 10 minutes into the film. There was full frontal nudity and a short man on man romp which I liked, but overall this movie was just freaking weird. The ending really made me wonder if I had fallen asleep during a large portion of the film. I actually rewound to make sure I hadn't. I didn't enjoy the plot of the film, but I did like watching Paul Hamy, and it did make me want to go on a river excursion in Portugal.

3 Generations. Charming movie about a young woman going through a FTM transition.

This afternoon I saw "Midnight Sun" starring Bella Thorne and Patrick Schwartzenegger. It was a really good movie. Patrick is the son of Maria Schriver and Arnold Schwartzenegger and he is a total hottie!

Check it out!

The Gift

On Netflix, really good thriller with Jason Bateman, about a guy who runs into an old friend that makes the past to resurface. Don’t want to give a way too much but again, really enjoyed it.

Love, Simon

Really enjoyed it, hit a lot of chords with me, had me going a few. Loving, sweet and endearing this movie is.

I saw Love, Simon too. It only came out here today and I really liked it and thought it was a great adaption!

I watched that last month. I loved it.

This afternoon I saw "The Leisure Seeker" starring Donald Sutherland and Helen Mirren.

It was a very sad movie. Both actors were great in this movie.

Even though it was a sad movie, I really enjoyed the movie.

Check it out!
