the last film you watched thread

Hotel Transylvania 3 - waste of money
Incredibles 2 - Not as good as the first; kinda let down
Fantastic Beasts 2 - was entertaining, and sad (for one of the characters); wish they didnt involve Depp though

Tarzan

Phil Collins music makes this film so awesome it gives me goosebumps and butterflies all at once

The Innocents (1961) Debra Kerr. Based on Henry James "The Turn of the Screw". Screenplay: Truman Capote, William Archibald, John Mortimer.

This is an intense psychological horror story. 5 STARS. Amazing film.

Today I saw "The Favorite" starring Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, and Rachel Weisz.

After watching this movie I can not Believe that Olivia Colman won the Oscar over Glenn Close. I thought Glenn Close's acting performance was better in the Wife than this movie.

The movie was ok. Let me just say that "The Favorite" was not my favorite. LOL

^ Even though I adored the film I do agree with you that I didn't see her acting especially exceptionally different from the other two female leads. Oscar worthy? Not at all.

The Prodigy (Jackson Robert Scott, Taylor Schilling)

Very creepy,sick,twisted and disturbing movie.

Captain Marvel ( Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson)

Great,awesome movie.

Good story with a great plot twist.

Love the non-linear way of story telling, a huge departure from other superhero movies.

Most superheroes origin movie, they start from the scratch, the very begining and tell the story.

But "Captain Marvel" do it differently and it works very well.

Love the tribute to Stan Lee.

And the after-credits scenes......Can't wait for "Avengers Endgame".
