the last film you watched thread

Yesterday I saw "The Dinner" starring Richard Gere, Laura Linney, and Steve Coogan. The movie was terrible! It was very slow moving and boring. I did not like the ending either.

Pirates Of The Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales - I enjoyed it for what it was. It got better as it went along. If you liked the other ones you will like this one.

Watched The Dark Knight again, keith ledger is excellent as the joker and I love the soundtrack music by Hans Zimmer.

This live version is epic.

Alien covenant

Dunno how I feel about the movie compared to the rest of the series, however, I have a major crush on Michael Fassbender and that alone was worth the price of admission :D

Manchester by the Sea

It was a pretty good story about realistic family crises and dealing with grief. The ending wasn't very conclusive, but real life doesn't have tidy endings either.

Today I saw "Norman" Starring Richard Gere. The movie was very good. It was a strange but interesting movie.

Check it out!

I'm the same. It just doesn't explain the engineers and how the hell the eggs get on that ship in the original Alien film.

Yea it really had me asking more questions rather than answering. I really want to like the movie movie but I feel like it wants to be deeper than what it is... If that makes any sense.

I think it was because with Prometheus they moved away from the Alien concepts and when the fans cracked up about it they tried adding it and they have got lost in the process plus is Scott ignoring everything after the first because no hint of a queen?
