the last film you watched thread

ALMOST the human centipede 3. Had to convince my sister that watching this 20 minutes before dinner was a bad idea. We instead watched the Lazarus project which was actually decent.

Good move.....because the film is just bad. I have seen the first two films and while disturbing, I thought they were at least well made. Part three is boring and tedious.

Annabelle creation.

I was really impressed with this prequel, I genuinely expected much less and it has surpassed my expectationsz

I'm going to see this weekend.

Decided to do a marathon of all the Terminator movies.

The Terminator
Terminator 2
Terminator 3
Terminator Salvation
Terminator Genisys

Last night I saw "Kidnap" starring Halle Berry.

It was a very good movie, very intense, also unrealistic.

Check it out!

King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword - A solid movie. Wasn't expecting much but its worth a watch.

My cool dad took me to see this film upon initial release in 1976 when I was 12. I rewatched this past weekend. Excellent performanes by De Niro, Foster, Keitel, and Boyle. Mediocre performances by Shepherd and Brooks. On my list of Top 10 Best Films.

Seriously, if your pop took you to see Taxi Driver when you were 12, he's confirmed cool.

I'm afraid art, let alone provocative art like Scorsese's, was far outside the purview of my parents.

I do remember being taken to Bedknobs and Broomsticks at the drive-in, though.

Alien Covenant
I avoided it at the theater because of the negative reviews. I rented it because I just need to see all Alien films but was pleasantly surprised. I liked it and I like where they are taking the series. I should have gone to see it on the big screen. So much for reviews.
I'm definitely going to the theater to see Blade Runner 2049 in October regardless of how bad the reviews are, now. I'll make my own review.

The Dark Tower. far too short a film, is there a sequel coming ?

Just an average film really.

Saw Terminator 2 in Ultra 4K and 3D at the cinemas today and it was awesome! The best it has ever looked and it was great to see it on the big screen.

Anyone have recommendations for zombie/survival movies? I love resident evil, 13 days later, and dawn of the dead, anything else similar that anyone has watched that I may have not seen?

Everything by Romero (haven´t seen Land of the Dead). The rest is pure tripe... or even worse. The Italian stuff is visually interesting, but you´ll end up wanting to break your furniture over the total lack of consistence between the various scenes on the screen.

Worth watching....I Walked With a Zombie is a 1943 horror/thriller directed by Jacques Tourneur. The film relies more on a sense of mood, and atmosphere emphasizing a mixture of wonder. and terror rather than pure shocks. Not for those seeking CGI thrills.

An appeciation of "I walked with a Zombie" that speaks to my own thoughts on its merits as feature film that gets into the nitty, gritty of voodoo in the West Indies.

The Dark Tower...I loved it...looking forward the next one. I think it would be nice to have at least one scene with Idris naked...I would like to see him grab his other gun and shoot....

Land of the Dead and Survival of the Dead and Diary of he Dead were good...and I liked both the original and remakes of Dawn of the Dead and Night of the Living Dead....

The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead are both really good too....

Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price is an old goodie. Better than I Am Legend crap version of the same story.

I haven't watched it in a while but I also remember liking The Omega Man with Charlton Heston as well.
