the last film you watched thread

Just freshed out of the cinema watching Mother! Such a wild ride. It's so challenging to watch as the story goes on. Lot of heart wrenching scenes. I am so exhausted. I didn't hate it though but might have to take a lot of time in order to re-watch it. Once is enough for me right now lol!!

Idiocracy (2006) appears to be a bitter parody, but at its heart are some kind and encouraging ideas. It's always fun to watch, especially now when the sting of the parody resounds so truly we need its good ideas.

I was actually floored by the movie, not the topic itself but just how it was told and conveyed. Thought it was very creative, intense and provocative at times.

Blade Runner 2049 - Great film!

Can not wait to see this.

The Little Shop of Horrors.. 1960...a Roger Corman classic with the riff raff of skid row, and a flower shop to entertain. Well worth watching on a Saturday evening...alone, with a box of chocolates.... and learn about the eating habits of ............

Roger Corman's 1964 version (there's a later version) of The Masque of the Red Death illustrates the need of many of his fans to be entertained by blood. A worthy effort by one of cinema's great directors of the horror genre guiding us through a visit from a plague that consumes all who happen to get in its way:

This war time story has a supernatural foundation bringing together people confused by the misfortunes of their life.

The Halfway House 1944 might well be the crossroads leading one into a rewarding life, for those prepared to change their direction.

As a PS..for I highly recommend this film particularly when the drama moves to the inn where lives are transformed.

There are those who have compared this film to Stanley Kubrick's, The Shining:wherein the very souls of a perceived haunted building might appear to intervene, demonstrating to the building's guests truths about themselves that they would not otherwise have been able to face, leading to a change in them for the better.

Towards the end of the film the scenario becomes a little too preachy, but this can be forgiven when viewing the entire story as an encouragement towards....facing ones demons, and changing the way we live our life.

Last night I saw "Home Again" starring Resse Witherspoon and Candice Bergen. It was a funny movie and I enjoyed it alot!

Some nice eye candy in the movie too! Pico Alexander who plays Harry in the movie is very HOT!

Check out this movie!

The Mummy. It was alright, but not too good.

I can't believe Tom Cruise is 55. He's a good looking man.
