the last film you watched thread

Bladerunner 2049 - I enjoyed it, although I not a big Ryan Gosling fan but I felt for his character. There are a lot of female sexual imagery in this film, from the holograms, the giant female sculptures and the nudity. There wasn't any male sexual imagery though, not even a gay district in that city.

Last night I saw "Molly's Game" starring Jessica Chastain. What a great performance she gives in this movie!

This movie is a true story. It was a really great movie!
Check it out!

Before I Wake, Directed by Mike Flanagan.

Not a bad movie, but not great. Think of a reverse nightmare on elm street with being quite a bit less horror and more drama. Boy has to ability to bring dreams to reality. I enjoyed overall because of the performances, I was really happy that the child wasn’t some creepy cliche mute like a lot of these movies have. The parents didn’t talk to him like an idiot and were very open and forward with him, made the movie felt natural. At the end of the day with an engaging premise, the film kind of gets flimsy in the end where the climax is kind of satisfying while still feeling underwhelming.

Whiplash (2014)

J.K. Simmons was great (and sexy).

Amadeus (1984) is like a sumptuous version of Happy Days.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure - A fitting conclusion to this series! Longer then I was expecting though.

Call Me By Your Name

Wonderful movie, felt so natural, felt real, really good acting. Absolutely amazing soundtrack, so fitting for the movie.

A Dog's Purpose (2017)

It made me love dogs even more.

Just got in from seeing "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure" (2017)

By far the best of the three. A very strong 10/10
