the last film you watched thread

I saw 3 films this weekend.

Inception which is a movie lover's dream film. I was so mesmerized that the film started and ended and my mouth was still agape.

Winter's Bone. A dark and ugly tale of backwoods people - a girl trying to find her father because their land is about to be taken if he breaks his bail. There are some really fine performances in this film and it will chill you to the bone.

Eclipse. The 3rd installment of the Twilight saga. Actually liked it way more than the previous 2. Lots of Taylor shirtless and a battle royal involving vampires and vampires and werewolves. I am a werewolf person. Can't even imagine sleeping with a vampire, not that I could sleep with a wolf either unless it changed back into Lautner. That guy is some fine looking stuff.

Sci-fi geek alert!!! I'm currently watching this. Plus some of the bonus material.

At the movies: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1.

On Blu-ray: Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

I enjoyed both movies a lot.

I really can't wait to see The Tourist and Tangled.

On the recommendation of another JUBBER -

THE HISTORY BOYS

Wonderful. Pitch perfect performances and a heaven-sent screenplay.

Oldies alert!!! Had some time to kill, so...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

Good, if somewhat overlong. Kudos for showing Hermione's scene right at the start. Smart move.

I was in action mode....

The Marine and 12 Rounds. Both with, John Cena

And, The Marine 2 with, Ted DiBiase, Jr.

The Mummy and The Mummy Returns.

Winter's Bone. A dark and ugly tale of backwoods people - a girl trying to find her father because their land is about to be taken if he breaks his bail. There are some really fine performances in this film and it will chill you to the bone.

Excellent movie! Jennifer Lawrence and the actor who plays her uncle give Oscar worthy performances.

An Adrienne Barbeau slasher, 1987's Open House, in which gorgeous Los Angeles real estate agents suffer the onslaught of an angry plebe. Shoulderpads ahoy.

Sunshine Cleaning

I got a bit teary at the end. Anything about the struggling children of dead parents does this to me. Even Harry Potter for fucks sake. *sigh*

Amy Adams is just so perfect in everything. I'm a bit sad the sister didn't get it on with Chloe from 24.
