the last film you watched thread

I just watched "The Social Network" on early premires On Demand on STARZ.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Jesse Eisenberg was amazing. I don't know how he delivered his lines like rapid fire in the opening scene.

I've seen him in Holy Rollers, Zombieland and Adventureland and he was rather subdued in all three. I didn't know he had this in him.

Wow, no wonder he was nominated for an Oscar for best actor.

That version was horrendous. I mean really, Medusa wearing a bra? Really? It's just an indicator of how overly conservative studios have become. And the story was a hack, nowhere near as interesting as the original. And Sam Worthington was miscast as the Greek son of Zeus.

That movie was worth watching just for Nicholas Hoult.

Silent Fall (1994) with Richard Dreyfuss trying to get into an autistic boy's mind after seeing his parents killed.

I think the film is very good, but I would like a remake.

The Phantom of The Opera.... got goosebumps all along the movie and Emma Rossum as Christine she's amazing and Gerard Butler as the Phantom OMG!!! that voice....

'Beginners'

Don't miss this great new film about a recently widowed 75 year-old man coming out as gay, and his thirty-something son, challenged by the news, finding his own way at love and life.

Starring Ewan McGregor and Christopher Plummer.

Now in limited release but slowly moving it's way across the country.
