the last film you watched thread

Funny Games (1997)

More response, please.

Impossible not to have one to such a provocative film.

My initial reaction was that it was trite and pretentious.

I can see how others might react differently, though!

The new gay movie Weekend. It has been making the indie film circuit and is getting rave reviews. Loved the movie so much. It made me smile and laugh so many times.

That movie had some great, realistic looking zombies (if zombies were real). They really looked like rotting, decaying corpses, unlike most recent zombie movies where they just look freshly dead, like live humans wearing zombie makeup.

haha, yea the zombies did have a cool realistic decomposing look to them that most other zombie flicks dont have. or at least you dont see nowadays

Yesterday I saw "The Three Musketeers 3D" which was rather lame but the 3D more than made up for it. Then I saw "Puss In Boots 3D" which was okay. After that I saw "In Time" with Justin Timberlake. The nude scenes are pretty revealing! I ended my theatrical blitz with "Footloose."

Yes I love movies!

This is one of the few musicals I can sit through. I've decided one of two things is true about watching/enjoying this movie: You're either a BIG Garland fan, or you're really, really gay. I suppose I fall into the latter.

This is where she sings, "The Boy Next Door". I love this song because when I was a teenager, about 4-5 years ago, I was "boinkin'" a "boy next door", so this song is kinda funny for me...!!

What better place to ponder our commonality than a bank?

Are we all in this together, or not?

Sidney Lumet's humane Dog Day Afternoon (1975).

Timely stuff, and timeless too.

flesh for Frankenstein.

its a flick by andy warhol, the movie is violent, sexual and wrong in every way but i completely love it!!!

I watched Beowulf for the second time last night. I am convinced this is an underrated motion capture flick. I think this is Zemeckis's best work. I love how it leans on adult content. It successfully integrates real human character with CGI. The whole norse fantasy setting is dark yet mesmerizing. Big name actors were well cast. The musical score is awesome also.

Jar City - an Icelandic murder mystery based on a book by the same name. Beautiful cinematography with stunning shots of the Icelandic landscape.

I'm a total sucker for Nordic crime fiction and film in general.

Tarkovsky has made a couple of my favorite films.

Ivan's Childhood (1962) is a precursor to his later genius.

Even though he was inheriting the project from another filmmaker, all his talents and interests are already mature.

The Tunnel. It's free legally on their website. Not a bad movie. Kind of slow, and the lead actress was annoying at parts. Overall I'd say it was worth the time, but not nearly as good as Grave Encounters.

the Muppets take Manhattan

i dont care what anyone says, i love the muppets<333!!!

My suggestion to you would be Meet the Feebles.
