Agreed. Very depressing but excellent acting.

uplifting - the kid gets through it - he and his dad bond - there's tremendous hope that rises from the tragic events

just saw "Turn The Lights On"

excellent

not that's depressing

gay couple 10 years ...... one of them has a terrible addition to crack which tears apart their relationship

^its actually a really fun movie, the first quarter or so remind me a lot of the evil dead but i still loved it and found it just fun

the last movie i seen was Moonrise Kingdom. i loved it. i loved it's visual style, its quirkiness, and everything about it. it's definitely my favorite film from Wes Anderson.

This weekend we watched; "Vampire in Brooklyn", just love Angela Bassett and the movie is always funny. We also saw the new "Total Recall", not bad at all, Colin Farrell is quite hot in it and I really enjoy the fact that although they stuck to the original story and a lot of the original dialogue, it was a completely different movie.

A documentary on the looming cataclysm of declining abundant energy, The End of Suburbia (2004).

Hi Chance. I never thought of the film that way until reading your post. You are correct. I have not seen the film since the original theatrical release. Thinking back, you are correct. I love that the dad and son bonded.

had to watch this for a drama class...it's depressing...

I watched it before, and I cannot bear to watch it again because it is too depressing for my liking. Same for the film "Dead Poet Society."

Looper. Probably the best sci-fi film I have seen since Inception (another JGL movie). And also just as complex. Good to also see Bruce Willis back into another time traveling role (awesome in 12 Monkeys). Highly recommended.

Cold Light of Day. Story was so-so. Henry Cavill is real nice eye candy, which was why I watched the film all the way to the end.

At least one of these movies isn't worth watching.
