the last film you watched thread

Is it worth watching, do you think?

Missed an opportunity to see it, but if I really try...

um, it's kind of slow at points, but it's very very bizarre. I'm toggling between C+ / B-

don't quote me, but the movie might be still available 'on demand'

I feel like a straight guy whenever I watch this movie. Not that I try to, it just feels like a straight guy movie.

Such an excellent film is good in part because it lets viewers transcend their expected categories, and I think you should. :D

Philomena is really good. Saw The Art of Killing, and am seeing August: Osage County this weekend.

Two German films:
1. Run Lola Run
2. The Door.
The latter was the better movie and well worth seeing.

Being the shallow, materialistic fucking whore that I am, I watched this documentary about the Bergdorf Goodman store in NYC.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Like its predecessor, I enjoyed it as an entertainment, but can't swallow the notion that it works as anything more than the vaguest dystopia.

Hi. I didn't like August too much; I loved the play and guess my expectations were too high. Did you like Frances Ha? I didn't like that much either. This week I'm seeing Fruitville Junction, Nebraska, and A Touch of Sin.

I saw Disney's Frozen this past weekend. It was really good--restores some of my faith in Disney.
