the last film you watched thread

Duncan Jones on the futuristic worry that we are less than we want to be, Moon (2009).

And one of his short films, Whistle (2002), too. An assassin has a bad day at work.

Everybody seemed to think Cool Hand Luke (1967) was a world-shaker, but I agreed with another that he was more guts than brains.

Recent movie...Finding Vivian Maier. Odd woman (photographer), terrific candid pictures. Limited distribution but worthwhile.

The Amazing Spiderman 2.

MEH.

My thoughts as well. I was in Vegas at the Red Rock casino's IMAX. Grown ass men dressed in costume! There was one young man there in a costume that looked just like Andrew Garfield. Only this kid sported a bigger bulge!

I also saw Cap't America...lots of eye candy there!

It's like by Alfred Hitchcock and it's got lots of cocks.

You can't figure out of 'the stranger' is the hero who enters this new world of the gay beat or the sexy man who may be a killer or the charmingly blasé hetero policeman or the asexual fat observer.

Excellent and with no pixelised fakery!!

Cap'n America: The Winter Soldier.

Great action sequences, plus Chris and Scarlett had some heat going on.

I was on a gay steak for coming out films so I re-watched Get Real, Just A Question of Love (french) and Beautiful Thing. Greeeeat movies. Beautiful Thing is still my fave.

Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011), mentioned by Rubber Rat upthread.

Mirk and silence are undercut by the terrors of a young woman escaping from a cult. Well-written, cool palette. The director's $500 short precursor, Mary Last Seen made a bookend to it.

Also, I'm a sucker for the idiotic franchise, so, Final Destination 5. !oops!
