Only God Forgives

Third time seeing the film. Still really enjoy it even though it gets a lot of hate. Definitely not Ryan Goslings best performances but the cinematography is really good, stylish. And although the plot is blatantly explained to you, it is one of the things I enjoy about the film.

Even though I wasn't alive during the JW era, I found this interesting.

Into the Woods. If not for my love affair with Anna Kendrix and Chris Pine I might dislike this movie completely. The addition of these two made this movie at least tolerable. Don't get me wrong i love a good musical. This one took everything that i have every known about fairy tales twisted it on its head.

'Design Is One' documentary

Italian-born Massimo and Lella Vignelli are among the world's most influential designers. Throughout their long career, their motto has been, 'If you can't find it, design it' The work covers such a broad spectrum that one could say the Vignellis are known by everybody, even those who don't know their names. From graphics to interiors to products and corporate identities, the film brings us into the work and everyday moments of the Vignellis' world, capturing their intelligence and creativity, as well as their humanity, warmth, and humor

The Imitation Game

Fascinating story, of particular personal interest to gay men. I did tear up a couple of times near the end and reading the epilogue.
I won't say anything more for spoiling it.

The Fault In Our Stars - the movie doesn´t do justice to the book that was at least entertaining.
Daydream Nation - interesting enough to keep you wondering what happens next, but a very fragile plot.

Metropolis Restored

First time seeing the film, fantastic. Love the scenes where Freder was hallucinating and where he spoke to the seven deadly sins.

Irreversible.

I remember when I first saw this film, around the time it came out and I didn't like it all. Mainly because at the time I really just didn't get it and threw it off as just being "artsy fartsy". I watched the film again today and I have to say I absolutely love it now. Really brutal, brilliant film.

I was 13 when it came out and saw it the same year. To this day it´s a favorite, the idea behind it, the way they arranged it, the famous scene.. I couldn´t believe that Monica Bellucci did it. It must have been quite traumatic, I assume.

Very good movie, recommend 10/10.

I saw "Big Eyes" starring Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz. Excellent performances by both actors. Amy Adams deserved her win of the Golden Globe for this movie.

Check it out!

Vessel (2014). Mediocre film-making, but compelling subject matter, a documentary about a Dutch organization using a variety of tactics (international waters, over the counter drugs, mail-order, information) to bring abortions to many countries in which abortion is illegal.

Saw Mockingjay quite a while ago, which amounts to little more than a teen girl romance, visually monotonous and the most cynical abuse of the two-part format I've yet witnessed. Also, the last The Hobbit installment with its glaring video quality and bouffant dwarves.

Last movie I watched that I didn't see before was Thunder Cop. Hilarious Cop/Horror movie from China.

One I have seen before, Intruder. Slasher that takes place in a Supermarket.
