I can't tell if that's a lake or a lagoon. Either way it's an awesomely beautiful volcanic caldera!

That's about what my weather looks like, snow coming down but hasn't covered everything! Knox woke me up early wanting out, but he didn't need out to go potty, he stopped at the top of the steps and pawed at the snow, then licked it; he didn't know what to make of it. I hope we get at least six inches of the stuff so he can really play in it.

The weather we expect overnight in my area of Germany...​

I would love some of that weather! I like my winters to be WINTER, not just a colder wet season.

This made me laugh, though; it reminded me of university days when four of us rented a house, and one day in March this snowstorm hit and we got a bit crazy; we got out the grill and had a BBQ on the porch, sitting in deck chairs in shorts and sandals and tank tops like it was summer, drinking hot spiced lemonade while the steaks and chicken cooked over the coals. And after we roasted marshmallows over the fading coals. The neighbors already considered us a set of slightly weird college boys; after that they called us flat-out crazy!
