I did not say and did not mean to infer that because no one likes Ann Coulter that they are not offended when she is called a cunt. I meant to say that no one is offended because they do not identify with Ann. There is a difference.

If there is a valid argument to be held about a particular person, policy or current affair then state the affair and state your dislike of it. Something that says:

"Stupid fucking idiot moron asswipe shithead crossdressers" is a statement that seeks reaction from the queens of the night. Nothing more. It loses all of its validity as an argument because it is sensed as an attack on that group who frequent (I would think) JUB. Same goes for a Hillary attack thread that just throws names. Believe me I am the last to defend Hillary but playgorund name calling doesn't accomplish anything but to attack those specific people who support her.

In my humble opinion, the idea in this forum is to prove some point or another with valid facts or opinion where fact isnt readily available. That point or opinion will undoubtedly be challenged no matter how benign. Did ya see the thread that described a hacker trying to set off seizures? Anyone with a moral compass can see that giving someone a seizure as a joke is not a joke. However, we had someone argue that point and provide some salient opinions as to why. I disagree BUT the point is it entailed discussion that was not about wrote baiting or simple attack for the sake of attack. There are legion of websites where you can get your fill of that vitriol. Where you can call someone a name and then get a high five.

It all comes down to your environment.

Then again there are guys in here who will attack in a way that is felt but defendable. I dont possess one of those 800 pound brains but I appreciate their wit. Playgorund attacks wont be accepted. You also made such a point of Hillary or Ann being a cunt that I doubt in a normal thread you can get away with just insulting Hillary as a cunt while making valid arguments. You made the issue too sensitive and acute. So there we are......

Well you guys should come back your doin better than Bush or the congress but not quite as well as the military.

If you take in the "NO" your not crazy vote and count it as trust for the mods then we arrive at 40.5%

Add in the Swing voters (the Dunno and Dont Cares) and your up to 54 Percent approval rating.

The military was given a 84 by all walks of life in the PEW Research Center Poll but to be fair as most posters at JUB could be identified as liberal ....even the Liberal gave the military a 71% confidence factor.

I need not point out the Bush Job approval rating because we are all so well informed but I will point out that the Federal approval is at its lowest in at least a decade.

You equal the news media at 40% favorable opinion which makes ya a bunch of O'Reillys

So take heart Mods by the numbers America loves you

All of the figures were collected by the Pew Research center with the exception of the JUB opinion poll. there is a +/- 50 percent margin of error. Okay I made that last part up up. :p

I'm not exactly ecstatic about any of the candidates. Clinton seems to be more of the pro-gay candidate but I really can't stand the woman. McCain gives me the feeling that he would be nothing more than just the same old Bush garbage. If there is one candidate I like the most it would be Obama, that's probably because I know the least about him. But, then again I'm not a regular mod to this forum!

Moderators are entitled to express their own personal opinions just like any other member.

I haven't seen any evidence that any moderator has abused their position in order to promote their own ideas.

In some cases the moderation here may have been rather "heavy handed" - but I think these mistakes are more due to over enthusiasm rather than the result of any political bias.
 
BTW - I assume you guys have all had another look at the bottom of this Forum to see the names of the assigned Mods?...
